I mean, there really isn't a lot that can go wrong with cotton rounds. I will say they do "shed" a little bit if that makes sense. Kind of fray like a cotton ball would. But if you're using them for toner or nail polish remover they work great. Very soft on skin!

every cotton pad i have bought has been too soft, not held together, fuzzy. i wanted what my mother used 60 plus years ago called coets, which were kind of padded. well these are close. they are great. hold together well without all that fluffy stuff that i hated.
