I ran a magnet over these and they are very magnetic. Clearly they are coated with stainless, not solid stainless. Highly recommended to avoid for any outdoor or marine application.

This product contains a good variety of quality e-clips. The case is small enough to store away until you need it, but big enough to hold all of the various sizes. Each size came in an individual plastic baggie, which is nice so they didn't get all mixed up in shipping! Overall, this looks to be a quality product.I only needed one, but I wasn't sure what size I needed, so the variety in this assortment worked out perfect. I found the right size after the second one, and because of the variety I was able to get it just right. (One worked, but was a little too loose)Normally, if you need an e clip, there is nothing you can substitute. Having this great variety on hand will make my workshop all the more efficient, as I won't need to order these again anytime soon!
