Been on two wheels for the better part of my life. This lock is a total game-changer. Compact, strong and reliable, it gives me peace of mind knowing my bike will be safe when is not in front of me. Every biker needs one of these!

The media could not be loaded. Against a determined thief with power tools and plenty of time motorcycle theft can't really be prevented. But you want to make it hard for them so that they choose easier prey.Brake locks are good bang for your buck in this regard. They install quickly and easily and make stealing your bike more difficult because the front wheel won't turn as the brake is now applied.This means hotwiring your bike won't work since the bike is not driveable. And it will take at least two strong people to manhandle it onto a truck since they have to lift the front wheel as it won't roll.Brake locks are easier to carry than long chains or cable locks and can be installed while sitting on the bike, so no getting dirty while crouching next to a grimy wheel.This Kronox lock does the trick and can be recommended with a few cautions.1. While it will fit most unmodified bikes it will not fit with certain aftermarket levers (the short ones in particular).2. It also won't fit if you've added something to make your grips bigger around (see photo 3, the circled area shows how the two halves can't mate because the foam sleeves make the grip too wide).3. If your lever is really stiff it may not pull back far enough for it to work.Photo 1 shows the flimsy packaging for this item. The first one I got had ripped and the keys fell out so I had to return and reorder. So make sure you get two keys with yours.

Fits well and not too difficult to put on or take off. Does what it is made to do.

It's easy enough to use. It's a big round key with fat plastic that I don't prefer to carry around in my pocket with all the other fat keys, but I made peace with that pre-purchase. The lock itself is easy to use. I like that I can put it on and remove it from the seat of my scoot. It stores nicely. No problems with it scratching my brake lever. The reason for the 3 out of 5 stars is it doesn't like to get wet. In the PNW everything gets wet and the hinge rusts making it a complete bear to open and close. It's an easy fix with a little oil, but I was late when I discovered this and pretty close blowing one of my fragile frustration gaskets. I'll make it 10 stars if they figure out a way to add a 11 billion watt thief taser.

The media could not be loaded. This little device is compact and super easy to use. Leaving the bike out is no longer a problem.

I bought this one to keep my bike safe while doing chores at the city.Overall I'm pretty happy with it. It feels sturdy and it has a nice presence on the handlebar.Also it's easy to fit under the sit compartment.Recommended!!
