I bought this blanket for an extended family member in the hospital after a bad car accident. She is a young lady who has been in critical condition and undergoing lots of surgeries. She lost her best friend while in the hospital and couldn't go to the funeral. Sorry to leave such personal details but I want everyone to read this and know how powerful the message of this blanket is. Since my husband and I live out of state, and couldn't bring food to her immediate family - I knew this could be of comfort. Well I was right. I was told that she wants it all the time, covering her, and she snuggles with it constantly. She is in a lot of pain - even with pain medicine - because she can only have so much. I teared up hearing how much she loves this blanket and holds on to it even while in pain. I couldn't have asked for a better gift to give. Thank you to the seller. That's all I know to say because there are no words to express how much I appreciate the opportunity to give that young lady comfort and hope.
