Great Book
Well I really enjoyed this book. I never used makeup as a young woman but my boyfriend said that it's good for me so he asked that I start wearing it. I found the book to be very helpful to beginners. The book is mostly pictures which is extremely helpful but it won't give detailed instructions. Buy another book if you need detailed instructions on how to wear makeup.

Just ok not great
This was just ok I bought for my teenage girls to learn how to do make up I was expecting more pictures with step by step instructions. It was more general tips.

Great Starter Book
I bought this for my 14-year-old niece and she loved it. I think it's a great starter book for young women learning how to apply makeup. Even my 21-year-old niece wanted to borrow it.

It's cute and simple
I like how it's a small book. Cute and simple. Straight forward. No nonsense book. Goes straight into different areas of your face from cleansing to your brows. Pages are easy to turn. Pictures are nice. What I actually was expecting, more instructions on how to with drawings, I was looking for real photos but the drawings are nicely drawn through, and the book is a little short.

英語学習用と趣味を兼ねて買いました。 中は簡単な英語でメイクの仕方（ベース、シェーディング、アイ、アイブロウ、リップ…）や最後の方でスキンケアの仕方まで説明してあります。これがなかなか丁寧で親切な説明で嬉しい。基本は日本のメイクと変わらないのですが、例えばアイシャドウの項では海外らしいスモーキーアイの作り方もあればヌードなアイも作れちゃうよ、という幅広さ。 表紙は厚めで金色の部分は箔押し（かな？）、中のイラストの女性や目もと、口もともカラフルでバラエティがあって、まるでメイクをする人への絵本のようです。 はじめは学習のために、読むのが嫌にならないように興味のあるものを…と思って買いましたが、読むのが楽しい。買ってよかった〜！
