Seems like a great reel. Originally bought it for an upcoming fishing trip for catfish, but not comfortable using it as there is not paperwork that came with it and the website provided was inaccessible. But will test it before the fishing trip the end of May and make a decision then

I bought this reel to keep on my truck rod that I keep under the back seat in case I run into some water that needs investigating. I didn’t expect a lot due to the price, but have been pleasantly surprised by its performance. The first fish I caught with it was a 5.5 lb bass, and had no problem reeling it in. I also caught a 24 inch redfish on it with no issue. It casts smooth, and reels smooth as well. Would definitely recommend it!
