The Flash Drives are a scam. After running the flash drive through a program called H2testw (drive performance tool), the 128GB drive is actually only 15.1GB. DO NOT BUY THIS. There are some comments on this product trying to warn people away from this product, and they are right--this is a fraudulent product. It is by no means waterproof because it is open on one side and not sealed. The memory is loose inside the metal housing and needed to be fished out with my fingernail. The only thing keeping it from sliding down into the housing was a piece of thin, flimsy plastic that was folded over and tucked into the bottom to keep it from slipping down. It cannot be locked in place, and is slightly smaller than a USB port, so it has to be set inside of it just so.But the BIGGER issue is that the memory stick has been tampered with. It has been altered to display false information to your computer, which means that it could be trying to install malware in addition to lying about how big a drive it is. It claims to be 128 GB, but running F3X on it proved that it is substantially smaller not genuine. Any data one tried to store on this device would be corrupted. It is not safe to use!

DO NOT BUY THIS. I have used USB drives for years, and have never had this experience before. I was able to save about 100 photo's from my son's wedding celebration, and then got error messages saying that the drive is damaged and needs to be scanned and fixed. I tried to do this 4 times on my computer, and it tied up my computer for over an hour each time and didn't seem to make any progress. I am very disappointed as I deleted the pictures from my computer once they were saved on the drive, and they are lost forever! DO NOT BUY THIS DRIVE. Look carefully at all of the reviews and see the low percentage of people who gave it a 5, and the high percentage of people who gave it 1-3. I wish I had looked at the reviews before purchasing this drive. I asked for a refund even though it is well past the 30 day return window, but I was saving this drive for when I needed it, and unfortunately now was when I needed it. I am waiting to see if I can get a refund, but no-one can replace my lost pictures. I am devastated about that.

It certainly has a lot of space on it, though I question how it has anything less than exactly 128 GB when there are no set-up files on it. Still, lack of storage wasn't the problem at all. The problem arose when I started putting some old videos on it. It seemed to be working, but then when I tried to play those videos from the flash drive directly, it wouldn't recognize them - "file is corrupted", it would say. Even though the file on my computer was perfectly fine, the drive simply wouldn't accept them.So I asked for either a replacement or a refund. To this vendor's credit, I got a replacement fairly quickly (almost TOO quickly), and that one had a similar issue - it accepted about half the videos I tried to put on it, only to reject the other half because, say it with me, "file is corrupted".I'll just go to the electronics section at Walmart and get a flash drive there. In the meantime, I'm asking for a flat refund on this. It's just not worth it.

I ordered this flash drive the main purpose of loading pictures onto it so I can have them printed out, I made sure to format it before I used it as I do with all flash drives, after loading over 1000 pictures dating back from as far as 2005 I started sorting them out and deciding which ones to print, when I was done I made sure to eject the flash drive before pulling it out of the usb drive. Upon trying to open the flash drive on another time, I realized that everything was gone, all my pictures and resumes, I asked IT to help but they even can't figure out how to recover anything. I have come to accept that I lost it all and it can't be recovered. The flash drive shows 0 on everything including its memory. NOT RECOMMENDED

THIS IS A FAKE DRIVE! I just tried to actually use it today, I'd bought it several months ago. It's been hacked to report it's 128 GB, but it doesn't have more than 14-15 GB. Even worse, because it's been hacked, it pretends to write files to the drive, but doesn't actually write them. So I was cleaning off a laptop before sending it back to the manufacturer, and ended up LOSING over 500 files because I thought I'd backed them up, and deleted them from the drive. (Silly me, trying to be secure and not let some repair guy look through all my tax files and receipt copies).

DO NOT BUY!!! While it says 128GB, the item only lets you use less than 20GB!!!! After that, it appears to have saved your items, but they are corrupt and will not open!!!!I found this same issue being reported for this item numerous times on several different reviews.
