As someone who has travelled professionally for thirteen years, I have owned many toiletry bags, and tried various brands of luggage. My last toiletry bag was a Tumi, and while it looks the part, and hangs nicely, and is slightly bigger than this one, it has an annoying design flaw in that it kind of only wanted to hang. It was designed such that if there was nowhere to hang it, and you just wanted to place it on a counter, as is convenient in some hotels, there was not really an option for that. So I thought I’d try this one by Briggs & Riley. I think it is my second from this brand, but my first ‘executive’ or hanging option. There was a bit of a down size from my Tumi, which immediately meant I had to put a standard size deodorant in the side pocket rather than one of the extra tall ones. There are slightly fewer pockets, so organization was a bit different. But overall this is a really excellent bag. It’s made as well as any comparable Tumi, while also running half or a third of the price, which is excellent value. It can indeed hang or sit, without any impairment to the functionality. I have all the space I need for content. We all know that you can buy a Dopp kit from anywhere, and toiletry storage solutions start at a fraction of the price of this one. But a well made, good looking, hang or sit design, isn’t so hard to come by. And for that reason, I am well pleased with this one.
