Exxact Parts Solutions Replacement Laptop Battery Compatible with ACER Aspire 5517-5700,Aspire 5517-5997,Aspire 5532,Aspire 5532-5535

This battery was clearly advertised as a 10400mAh High Capacity battery. Upon arrival the battery label stated that it is a 8800mAh size. I paid a $10 ~ $12 premium for an inferior product. FALSE ADVERTISING! The fitment was spot on, but I won't go to the trouble of returning it. SO--- bottom line --- you might just as well order a cheaper one with the 8800mAh rating.UPDATE - Nov 27th 2020Had to return it one day after it arrived. Battery would not charge, it remained at 0% and would not budge.Received a replacement today -- I will keep my fingers crossed.

I got this battery to resurrect an old laptop of mine for testing. I seldom use this laptop so the battery does no get drained.

What a terrific purchase! It shipped quickly, it was packaged with care, and fit my Acer Aspire 5517 perfectly. It is a high-capacity battery, so it's twice as fat and sticks out from the bottom about an inch. I actually think that's better for airflow under the laptop, anyways. After a short charge, the battery lasted over nine hours on that first charge - three times longer than the laptop's original! I would've liked to see some kind of paperwork with it to show me whether my existing AC Adapter would work with it, but I confirmed my question online in just a few clicks.

I'm not getting 9 hours, but I am getting 2.8 on an Acer 5517 running Linux Mint, twice as good as the stock battery. While I recommend this product, it doesn’t live up to the hype in the reviews. Three and a half. maybe four stars.

I expected a little more than an Hour's worth extra from the original battery that came with the "Lap-Top"! But for the price....I'm happy!

The battery did not fit even though I had the correct model number and battery model number.

Excellent heavy duty battery that fits well and the charge lasts longer than the originally fitted version. However, due to 12 cells it is larger and more in weight which makes the laptop a bit heavier. But that is not a great issue.
