I elected to purchase this for my 2 year old. My only regret was not purchasing it sooner. It comes with a spoon that the child can use on either end to learn how to feed them selves which is great for younger children just learning how to utilize utensils. It also came with a silicone lid for storage. You can pre-make your child’s meals and put it in the refrigerator with a silicone lid that fits tight and keeps bacteria out. it is microwave, dishwasher and freezer safe. It can also go in the oven up to 400 but I haven’t tried. My son constantly throws his plates and bowls when in his high chair, and the reason I purchased the specifics it was that the suction cup would disable him from lifting the bowl up and throwing it. The suction works great but I recommend you play around with it a couple times because if it’s not done in a specific way it won’t work as good as it can. overall a great high quality product that I highly recommend. This has made mealtime so much more easier and peaceful in my home.

I got this for my 8 month old so we could feed him more easily when out an about rather than just feeding out of the baby food jar. I love that is has a top and comes with a spoon as well. It suctions to surfaces quite strongly, in fact my husband has to ask me to get it unstuck for him sometimes. This bowl is large enough to fit as much as I want to bring with me and the lid stays on tight but isn't hard to remove. The spoon is great and easy for baby to grasp as well. It is a breeze to clean and dries quickly. I love this bowl so much I even use it to feed him at home now and I also bought a second one.

This Mickey Mouse bowl & spoon is so cute! My 9 month old loves to chew on the silicone spoon! It’s the perfect size for his little hands to hold. He LOVES it. The suction is pretty good on my babies high chair when it’s clear & clean. It’s no better than any other suction bowl/plate we have though. I feel like all suction things for babies are about the same for suction quality honestly. My 9 month old didn’t try to pull it off or nothing while eating! I would buy again though! It’s too cute to pass up. Buy it!!

All in all, I like this. The color is lovely, and the spoon is a great size for self feeding, maybe more so than the chewtencils. However, the suction base is a joke. My 13 month old hasn’t met a bowl or plate that he couldn’t detach and then dump on his head. This is less a problem with the specific item, and more a general problem with all suction based self feeding tools. They are probably more useful for older toddlers who are working really hard to use a spoon and need a more stable bowl to scoop against. Just accept that there will be a mess. Consider putting down a washable, vinyl tablecloth under the highchair and removing baby’s clothing before self feeding time. I’ve adopted the strategy of handing him preloaded spoons and a bowl with very little food in it until he’s gotten over the urge to dump the bowl. After that, we move on to having more food in the bowl. We also usually use steamed veggies, dry cereal, or fruit in the bowl so it’s not terrible to clean.

After trying different kinds of suction bowls/plates for my baby/toddler, my experience with Bumpkins is simply incomparable! Their products are pricey, yes, but the quality is worth it. They are heavier than normal, have the strongest suction power, and are quite durable. I knew this product passed the test when my 10 month old tried with all his might to remove it from his high chair table and couldn't. Even my elderly mom can't remove this bowl from the table. 😂 I have become a fan of Bumpkin products and have used them for over a year now. My toddler is now 2 and his Bumpkins bowls/plates are still being used daily.

Honestly, we rarely use the bowl—but it works just fine. The best part, however, is the spoon. I wish you could buy it on its own! Best BLW spoon we own. Was feeding himself with it well right from the get go (6 months). Food manages stays in it, (even with the upside down of those learning to eat) and it’s just the right portion size for early eaters. My guy also loves to teeth with it when eating...which I think is part of the reason he took so nicely to it. Perfect length for non-gagging and just the right size for little hands. Cleans up like a breeze in the dishwasher. Like it said...the bowl is just a bowl. But this spoon is magic!

Love these bowls and spoons for our little one. We started her off at 6 months with these spoons when using purées and she did really well with them. The bowls suction well and hold a lot without being too large. Love the fun colors they come in!

Love it but it does stains, I have the black one as well that one doesn’t stain, or at least I don’t see stains

Good quality and suction, looks nice and spoons are great

First off let me just say: I need more than one of these bowls! It's great for mixing baby food in. I have a busy baby who reaches for everything and this hasn't come off the table even once because the suction cup is so strong. She's not been able to snatch it out of my hand yet either because of the handle thing. The matching spoon is easy for me, my parents or my baby to hold! This thing rinses off beautifully and comes out of the dishwasher with nothing stuck to it, even when husband sticks it in there full of baby oatmeal. And I love the colours it comes in! A great buy for any parents for their baby in their beginning stages of eating (though I have a feeling it will be great through to the end of toddlerhood at least).
