Brilliant Calculus study or review book. This book is about "learning to do", rather than talking about proofs. Topically organized chapters present succinct explanation and fully worked examples. Chapters cover things like the Chain Rule, or by Parts Integration etc. Each chapter ends with student exercises (full solutions are provided in the back). The easy to find rear cover provides a well organized summary of useful equations for: Derivatives, Integrals and Trig functions.Thorough presentation is provided for all major differential and integral calculus topics. Dr. Sood has created a wonderfully helpful study book that will "blow away" all competition. Do not hesitate to buy. This book is the best!

A great review of the topic. The information was well organized, the examples were very well explained! The exercises and explanation of the answers were very helpful! I would say this would be a helpful review prior to tests, and helpful to accompany any college or advanced placement course!

Just started working thru this (physical) book. It is just fantastic.I wanted to review my long forgotten Calculus from my Computer Science degree to work on understanding how Machine Learning algorithms work.This book is perfectly organized and complete.Dr. Sood expertly explains and walk you thru every important concept and example with detailed solutions.I also very much like that he repeats important rules and concepts along the way, strengthening your understanding.There are many math videos on YT, but this book is better than any YT video.Lastly, the book is not a grind like others. It's quite enjoyable.Don't hesitate. This is the one your looking for.

Has some good material

As the title of the book implies, this is an essential skills practice workbook, and at the price, you are getting extreme bang for the buck. Problems are easy to understand without the need of pages of narritive couched in mathematician-speak. If you have had calculus before, you will very quickly regain your fluency. If you are just starting out, you will find the worked out problems and examples a real boost to getting the concepts in your class textbook.
