No. It does not even slice flat blocks of cheese.

Q: How does it work for slicing mozzarella cheese?

I haven't had the need to slice mozzarella but if it is in a stiff condition, it should do very well..

Q: Does it cut all the way through or leave an uncut section at the bottom?

It does not cut all the way through. Very disappointing feature.
