Safety Information CAUTION! Please read and follow the instructions in manual. Proper fit of the collar is important. A collar worn for too long or made too tight on the pet's neck may cause skin damage. These collars can cause pressure necrosis if used incorrectly and is often misidentified as burns. 1. Avoid leaving the collar on the dog for more than 12 hours per day. 2. If it's possible, reposite the collar on the pet's neck every 1 to 2 hours. 3. Check the fit of the collar to prevent excessive pressure; follow the instructions in this manual. 4. Never connect a lead to the electronic collar; it will cause excessive pressure on the contacts. 5. When using a separate collar for a lead, don't put pressure on the electronic collar. 6. Wash the dog's neck area and the contacts of the collar weekly with a damp cloth. 7. Examine the contact area daily for signs of a rash or a sore. 8. If a rash or sore is found, discontinue use of the collar until the skin has healed. 9. If the condition persists beyond 48 hours, see your veterinarian. These steps will help keep your pet safe and comfortable. Millions of pets are comfortable while they wear stainless steel contacts. Some pets are sensitive to contact pressure. You may find after some time that your pet is very tolerant of the collar. If so, you may relax some of these precautions. It Is important to continue daily checks of the contact area. If redness or sores are found, discontinue use until the skin has fully healed. Shock Advisory The PetTech remote training collar is equipped with 4 training modes - light, beep, vibrate and static shock. Improper use of the static shock mode can cause pain, physical injury and traumatize your dog. The static shock feature should only be used in extreme situations and only after consultation with a professional dog trainer. We highly recommend using only the vibration setting.

Easy to set up and great features
Bought as a second collar for my large cattle dog. I already had the original collar with remote control and it worked so well for our medium staffordshire terrier, I wanted to use the same training method on her sibling. Directions to set up with existing remote were simple and once charged it was ready to go. Simple remote switch from collar 1 to 2, makes training two dinguses at the same time very convenient. Both dogs respond well to the beep, and I find that low shock, set to 1 or 2, is effective for stubborn behaviors. Dogs have put the collars through some water and they held up well. Not too bulky, they don't mind having them on while out of the house. Make sure you don't use these on puppies!!!!!

I love these collars
I love these collars, mainly because they offer 4 different choices: Light, sound, vibe (works the best for us) and shock. I like the sound, we have 2 dogs and when I hit the sound, they both hear it and both come. I only use the shock when they are on a full run heading out of the yard, they make this big U-turn and head back. Good quality, charges fast, charge lasts a long time. Definitely recommend for training. Nice price also. I had the collar and receiver, and recently bought the additional collar.

This training collar works like a charm
One of our dogs, an Italian greyhound likes to run ahead when on unleashed woodland walks. And doesn't come when called. This training collar works like a charm. We haven't had to shark her, only use the vibrate mode so far. We want her to be able to run but safe at the same time which means we need to be in control and this collar does that.

Great product. Intuitive operation makes it easy to learn ...
Great product. Intuitive operation makes it easy to learn and the snap collar makes it easy to put on our dog. I've only had to use the shock once...after that she reacts to vibration. Also, the company is excellent. After several months our collar just stopped working. I emailed the company and they replaced it. Great operation. I would highly recommend.

We have had great success in training the dog to not chase chickens with this. When it got lost in the yard, I was back for the replacement collar the same day. Highly recommend.

I've puchased 3 of these training collars. Ordered just the collar. I thought it would be the same collar just without the remote. The collar has a "pin" rather than a buttton to turn it on and off Will be returning.

Not good, poor construction, on off switch is terrible and near impossible to operate.
