Cutting Board Went from 'Meh' to 'Magnificent'
Cutting Board Went from 'Meh' to 'Magnificent'For a long time, I neglected my wooden cutting boards. They're workhorses in my kitchen, enduring countless chops, slices, and dicing sessions, but I wasn't giving them the love they deserved. They were starting to look dry, a little dull, and frankly, a bit sad. I knew they needed conditioning, but I was overwhelmed by all the different oils and waxes out there. I wanted something easy to use and effective. That's when I discovered this Wood Butter, and it's completely transformed my wooden kitchen tools. This stuff is magic in a jar. It's a cream, which makes it incredibly easy to apply. No drippy oils or hard-to-spread waxes. You just scoop out a little bit with a clean cloth (or even your fingers, though I recommend a cloth for even application), and rub it into the wood. It feels nourishing as you apply it, and the scent is subtle and pleasant – not overpowering at all.I started with my main cutting board, the one that gets the most abuse. It had some dry patches and was looking pretty faded. After just one application of this wood butter, the difference was remarkable. The wood instantly looked richer, the grain popped, and it felt incredibly smooth to the touch. It was like giving my cutting board a deep, hydrating facial!I've since used it on my wooden spoons, spatulas, and even a wooden salad bowl that was looking a bit tired. The results are consistently impressive. It brings the wood back to life, providing a protective layer that helps repel water and prevent drying and cracking. It's also made right here in the USA, which is a nice bonus.Applying it is surprisingly satisfying, a little ritual that shows appreciation for the tools that help me create meals. It's quick, mess-free, and the impact is immediate and lasting. An 8oz jar goes a long way, so this is an investment that will keep your wooden kitchenware looking and feeling great for a long time.If your wooden cutting boards or other kitchen tools are looking a little neglected, do them a favor and get some of this Wood Butter. It's easy to use, incredibly effective, and will make your wood look magnificent again. Your kitchen tools (and your eyes) will thank you.

Works well enough
This seems like a pretty good wooden bowl and cutting board treatment. Maybe a bit oilier and less waxy than my old brand, (Holland Bowl Mill B's Oil), and takes a bit longer to dry as a result, but it's easy to apply, and seems to provide good protection and conditioning. It's also a bit less fragrant / more neutral than some other brands, possibly using a more refined wax?

Amazing Product
I love how easy this cutting board wax/oil was to use and store. There is no smell, does not dry up and keeps my cutting board protected and a joy to cut on. I really like this product. I did have to buy another brush to apply onto the cutting board. Would recommend not to wash the cutting board with soap.

Great product with terrible packaging
I purchased this as a replacement for the liquid wax I've been using to finish cutting boards for my Etsy store (dckwoodworking). I used it last night on a large brisket chopping board, after the board soaked up almost 36oz of mineral oil. Anyway, I removed the excess wax and buffed the surface this morning, and it looks great.A downside I've found is that the tin that this wax comes in is difficult to open. The lid fits tightly and creates a vacuum inside of the tin. To open it, I ended up wedging a chisel under the rim, then slamming the tin down on NY workbench. They should really go with a screw-on lid...

Love This Board Butter
Apt name because this product is rich and buttery. It quickly penetrates my bamboo boards and wooden utensils and is fully absorbed overnight, and leaving them beautifully moisturized.

Easy to use
Used a substantial amount of this treating a new large cutting board before use several times, the board is now damn near water proof and I reapply 1 coat occasionally. Does it's job well, you can see the thousands of cuts on the board, but there are no feelable cuts or chunks cut out.
