Panasonic DECT 6.0 Expandable Cordless Phone with Answering Machine and Smart Call Block - 2 Cordless Handsets - KX-TGD532W (White/Silver)

This phone is exactly what I was looking for. I read many of the reviews in order to help me decide to buy it, so I wanted to give a review in order to add my opinion on the phone. I wanted a phone that would be easy to use, reliable, and had good quality sound. This phone meets and exceeds my expectations. The ring tone which comes with the phone is very easy to listen too. It has very good sound and there is no problem hearing a caller. I like being able to turn the ringer off while allowing the phone to still take calls and allow messages to be left. It is easy to see if there is a message. It is also easy to listen to the messages and to delete the messages. And it has the Block Caller feature which is wonderful. This was an added bonus and the whole package has been affordable. It is easy to use the Block Caller feature too. I did not think I would like the call announce feature and wanted to be sure this could be turned off before I bought it. Instead I have found this feature to be really nice and I have not turned it off. I recommend this phone for all of these reasons. It is easy to set up also.

I am very happy with my decision to buy this answering machine and handsets. The handsets are very nice, they are very thin as compared to the one it replaces. I like that I can take the handset to my chair and do any programming that needs to be done. Each handset is able to be customized to it's particular function. The handsets lightup on the screen and the keypad so at night in emergency you can read the menus and the keys. You have very good control of things from the handsets and a very nice block feature for unwanted calls. The base answering machine is very simple to use as are the handset menus. It is very nice that you only need to plug the extension handset bases into an outlet and do not need to plug into a phone jack. I highly recommend this item, so easy to use and very large menus. Update 5/15/2020: why didn’t I see these sooner! I absolutely hate robo calls and this is a good way to fight back by just pushing the block button on the handset. My old phone answering machine would beep every few seconds when we got a robo call and the answered picked up and the caller said nothing! Then the machine keeps beeping thinking we had a legitimate message. It would beep until I erased the message. This one doesn’t do that, no beeps and I can easily block that caller and very easy to erase calls and review them as compared to my old one. The calls have been cut back nicely!

When I came to Amazon looking to replace my home phone, I wanted a cheap phone but it had to have a built-in answering machine. My husband and I both have cell phones and I have a separate business land line so I just wanted cheap with an answering machine. The built-in answering machine does add cost to all of the phones, but this one also had a call block feature that I wanted to try. I cannot tell you enough how wonderful I think that call block feature is. I always used to screen my calls on the home phone. If you actually wanted to talk to anyone, you had to start talking after the beep. I always answer the phone now, just so I can block all of the nuisance callers. I answer the phone, they (or their machine) start talking, I push the 'call block' button and voila! The call is immediately terminated and they are blocked. Stand-alone call blockers run the gamut in price from $25 to over $100. This is a fabulous feature. As I read the reviews before purchasing, I saw a lot of people complaining about the extra handset holder. It could probably use a little more weight, but I have no problem putting or keeping the phone in the cradle. Also, we must keep things in perspective. It is $1.55 for the extra handset, base, two more rechargeable batteries for the extra handset and another phone cord. The rechargeable batteries are $1.00 a piece from Amazon Basics (also a great deal). This phone is a good deal. I also like the large numbers and the simple voice-mail feature. I find the calls I make and answer as clear as the $80 phone I am replacing, but my phone placement is nowhere near other electronic devices which can interfere with the phone line. I think this phone is a great deal. I compared many models in the lower price range and reviews of those models on Amazon before purchasing this phone. I paid for the telephone and the answering machine and got so much more. Did I mention the call blocker? Great! I am very happy with my purchase.

Works well inside the house as well as the patio and porch. Setting up is pretty easy and intuitive. The Number/Name Announcement feature makes screening calls way easier.

This phone arrived on time and I unpacked it. ( guarantee that I would never be able to repack it into that box) Set it up with the main phone in the Kitchen and the hand sets all thru the house. Easy to set up since all handsets just need electric outlet, This system has the ability to block unwanted calls and it does the job !! Each handset has a block call button and once pushed that number is blocked. Not receiving all those robo calls is worth the price of the system. Entered 9 numbers , for speed dial, into the handset in my office and they worked fine. Was suprized when i picked up another handset it didn't show any numbers in the speed dial screen. Don't know if I missed a step that would enter the same numbers in all handsets ?? The system does a good job of announcing calls and the sound quality is excellent. Have also used the intercom which is handy. Sure there are other things I may learn once I interput the directions. But all in all sure don't miss our old phones. So far a very satisfied customer.

ACTUALIZACIÓN: Los teléfonos siguen funcionando perfecto, no sabía que traen una función donde cuando timbra el teléfono trae una voz que lee el nombre de la persona que está llamando, lo lee del directorio que uno carga en el teléfono, si no tiene un nombre registrado entonces deletrea número por número. La verdad al principio se me hacía medio molesta la función, pero la verdad es que está muy bien porque está timbrando el teléfono y alcanzas a escuchar quien es quien está llamado, y la verdad te evita tener que estar levantándote de tu lugar para ir a ver quien es, la verdad esa función me está gustando mucho. Adicionalmente, es sumamente sencillo bloquear números indeseados, si contestas una llamada de un número molesto lo único que haces es seleccionar en el menú "bloquear llamada" y ya la agrega a una lista de números bloqueados, eso también está muy bien. Muy buena compra, no se van a arrepentir. ************************************************************************************** Compré estos teléfonos para reemplazar unos que ya tenían como 10 años en la casa. Están excelentes, tienen muy, muy buen rango, los estoy usando en una casa de tres pisos, donde la base está en el piso intermedio y funcionan perfectamente, tienen mucha claridad y no se nota interferencia; tenía duda que fueran a funcionar bien por la distancia entre los teléfonos y la base, pero funcionan perfectamente. Los teléfonos son de funcionamiento sencillo, hay un modelo que tiene bluetooth pero me decidí por este porque no necesitaba más que unos buenos teléfonos fijos y estos cumplieron perfectamente su cometido, son ligeros, timbran fuerte y se escucha claramente la voz. Me sorprendió que no tuve que programar los teléfonos para que funcionaran entre sí, al sacarlos de la caja y ponerlos a cargar ya estaban conectados entre sí, así que no hubo que empatarlos. Incluye un manual muy claro en inglés, y al final del manual viene una guía rápida en español para poder habilitar las funciones básicas, los teléfonos se pueden configurar para ponerlos en idioma español y que todas las funciones en la pantalla se lean en español. También trae contestadora, aunque yo la deshabilité porque aquí en casa no la usamos, se puede encender y apagar muy fácil desde la base principal de los teléfonos. También trae una opción para que cuando el teléfono timbra también diga quién está llamando, ya sea el número, o el nombre que esté guardado en el directorio de los teléfonos, pero también se puede deshabilitar por si solo quieres que se escuche el timbre. Muy recomendables, fáciles de instalar y de muy buena calidad a pesar de estar lejos entre sí. Excelentes.

Muy buen producto, funciona a la perfección en Mexico y sin interferencias, excelente alcance, números de la pantalla grandes y claros, de igual forma el Teclado viene con números grandes para la marcación, la intercomunicación entre los auriculares es muy practica y sencilla de operar, muy buen volumen de el alta voz, llegó en optimas condiciones, así como en tiempo y forma. Lo recomiendo ampliamente... Gracias Amazon por hacernos la vida más practica...
