I like black toothbrushes. These toothbrushes are better than the thin types. I just like them. The bristles have the same gentle softness as regular white toothbrushes. I'm willing to say some people don't know there is a difference from a soft to medium tooth brush. From the complaints it looks like they use a soft brush and then switch to medium they complain about it because it hsrder than soft to they really use. This toothbrush in medium is gentle on my teeth and gums. I prefer a medium brush over a softer one but hygienist don't. As long a Colgate makes Charcoal brushes and toothpaste I'll keep buying them. My charcoal brushes have never fallen apart but I never bought Gold just the regular color.

This is not a soft tooth brush. The bristles are extremely stiff and thin. It is like you are flossing while your brushing your teeth. After a month or so the bristles are still straight. My dentist gave me the one I'm using and bought 2 extra for travel and a spare.

I use this toothbrush for more than two years (one toothbrush every two months) I loved it before, last time I ordered four of them so far three of them literally falling apart after one week of use and all three same way, rubber parts inside of a brushes are falling apart almost immediately.

We have been using these charcoal toothbrush for 1+ year now. I love their grip and how they fit/brush, they are not too big or too small, the bristles are perfect for me to give me that good feeling while brushing. I just wish the color can be chosen when buying in Amazon so I know I can get assorted colors as me and my husband used the same type of toothbrush and we assign which color is from whom.
