I absolutely love this! I use an X-Acto knife every time I receive packages, and this one is incredibly sharp. The sleek design is fantastic, and the exterior shell is very durable. Was looking for a way to try and keep my knives clean from tape gunk from all the boxes I open! This is sleek, easy to use one-handed (big plus), blade quality is useful but deliberately expendable (duh), and best of all, great price!

Lightweight, nice clean design. Blade slides smoothly and is sharp. Good choice for the price and so much more attractive than the average hardware store box cutter. This was a reorder as the first one came with no knife inside, but a 9v battery instead and some filler. My guess is someone sent it back as a return, but kept the knife and stuffed the package with something of lesser value that had approximately the same weight. The vendor should inspect packages when they go back out if they were returns.

tl;dr: Outstanding box cutter, but flimsy bladeThis company has great designs and taste. Their products are just so aesthetically appealing. I already have two have duty box cutters in my tool box, but the one I display on the box shelf behind my desk! Looks so good!The product itself is solid, although the blade is a bit flimsy. Unsure if the replacement are standard and the blade is something secondary that I can just improve by buying another blade (included pictures of the hooking mechanism for the blade), since my other cutters included like 10 replacements blades that are super solid, so I’ve never had to buy blades.The included blade isn’t something that I’d trust for even cutting boxes once protracted more than maybe half an inch or maybe up to an inch. If you need a solid durable blade that’s out 2+ inches, the included blade isn’t it.Otherwise this is a great product! I’ve used it for cutting the tape on boxes, cutting paper, and cutting ribbons and ties. Works well for that!5 stars easily if it included a better blade. Potentially having to buy a better blade and researching the fit and so on is why I remove 1 star.
