says keep on for 3 hours for the darkest shade kept it on 4 hours. after taking a shower it washed off like i had never put anything on complete waste of money. if you want a good product that actually does the job then stick to st tropez

Product does not stay on skin, transfers everywhere on my clothes in my bed sheets. Don t recommend

It looks disgusting when it comes out of the bottle, like a sick baby popped on your mitt, but don’t let that scare you! I’ve tried so many self tanners, including Bondi’s regular self tanner that you’re supposed to leave on for six hours or more (and you really have to leave on for more if you want a really noticeable f difference). This is by far the easiest and best I’ve used! However, I always still leave it on for a long time, many times overnight. With the regular Bondi Sands it would leave my white sheets brown and had a smell that some people liked but I hated. With this kind, no brown on my sheets and no smell. And it gives me a beautiful, natural looking tan! However, as I noticed in other reviews, it did not come with a cap!! It looked like it was supposed to, the tape was sticking up where the cap should have been attached? Luckily none of it spilled out. I’d be weary if anyone gets some with part of the contents spilled because you absolutely have to shake this stuff up before applying so all the colors in there blend. If you lose a little green or some other color because it spilled before you shake it I would think the resulting color of your tan would be a bit off. Other than that, I highly recommend!

This tan is brilliant. Nice colour as well.... first time using this and i must say i will buy again. Left it on over night and i showered everyday after it lasted a good 5/6 days! I would recommend! Only downside is it tranferred onto my white bedding but it has no fake tan smell either so you will be pleased with this product!!! ;)

I normally don’t leave reviews but this tan is really really good , so I am really pale , and I left it an hour and a half , washed it off and I thought great it’s totally come off , so I looked at reviews with some of them saying the very same and I thought well that’s a waste of money , anyway I woke up the next day with a glorious tan that had developed after me washing it off , and it was not streaky and didn’t cling to areas, genuinely one of the best tans I have used and I have used a lot , I’m on day 5 and it’s still lovely but I needed to remove it to wear again and it was a firm tan that took exfoliating to remove!!! Definitely recommend this and the moral is trust the process

I was using the aero express, which is a lot lighter than this and smells a little. I have used SO many self tanners (favorites Bondi aero express, Bali body express, rose & caramel). This is new to me this year and my new favorite. It is dark and super streaky going on. BUT it washes off streak free. I leave it on 4 hours but I wet a washcloth and wipe my hands, face, feet and elbows after two hours. It continues to develop after you rinse it off. It lasts me about 3-4 days before it starts to fade. It fades patchy around my bra line/ around my boobs. It’s a little difficult to get off but it fades fairly evenly and I start exfoliating around day 4, then redo the tan after 7 days or so. I am very fair skinned, cool tone, freckles. The tan color is not super warm (so not orange on my fair skin) which I love. It is nice and natural looking on the hands & feet which is fabulous. It did leak a little in the Amazon package but I cleaned it up. Highly recommend for new tanners, and all tanners alike. It is forgiving and beautiful. Also affordable! It also doesn’t smell almost AT ALL which I have never experienced with self tanners.

I was stopped yesterday by a fellow shopper who complimented me on my “early in year” tan”. She was delighted to find out this was not Mother Nature but a product she could purchase online. This is not the first time. Having tried the regular Bondi Sands and the Express product I am sticking with the express product. I get a brown tan, not orange and it works with people like me who are freckled. You have to work with your body type to find out whether to do one or two coats and whether you put a light coat on daily or every other day. You’ll know because you will see that it is not developing smoothly and could be a little splotchy. That’s when I do a light exfoliate and reapply. I prefer 2 coats at night and then light shower off the next am. It will come off on your clothes if you do not shower the excess off after it has dried. But it will not permanently damage clothes or sheets. Use the mitt or gloves to apply and then rinse the mitt. While the mitt uses more product I think it goes on more smoothly. All in all, it is a much better solution than risking cancer with using sun or tanning booth. The only thing that will cause me to try other brands will be if they start doing price increases due to the success of the product.
