I bought the AreMe 90 Degree USB-C Male to Female Adapter because my USB-C cable connection on my 5G Home Internet was always loose. This adapter solved the problem right away—the fit is snug and secure, with no more wiggling or random disconnects. The 90-degree angle design also makes the setup cleaner and helps relieve stress on the port. It feels well-made and durable, and the data/power transfer works flawlessly. For such a small, inexpensive accessory, it makes a huge difference. Highly recommended if you’re having similar issues with loose USB-C connections.

Rubber encapsulated in aluminum with the microchip inside. I had to shave 1mm off the short end and it works fine. Solidly built. Did not test speed.

I'm still giving it 4 stars, because I'm certain it's a perfectly good adapter for someone, just not for me. The problem is that the male side of the adapter sits almost flush with the adapter housing, which means the plug may not go fully into the port on the phone if the phone case is too thick, leaving the adapter loose and not fully seated. Like I said, I'm certain the adapter is fine and will work in many cases, but I can't use it with my phone due to my phone case getting in the way.

Great for TAPO 120C Cameras!I have a half dozen of the nice TAPO 120 cameras, that don't have batteries inside. They are intended to be powered from those little DC "bricks" plugged into an AC outlet.Fortunately, there is still at least one brand of solar panels with internal batteries. The are designed for powering some of the Blink outdoor cameras. They carry the brand name "iTODOS", but they are designed for Blink, so the connector at the end of the cable is USB-2, and the plastic "seal" shape is very convoluted. I put a simple USB-2 to USB-C adapter on the end of the cable - but that adaptor was a sloppy fit, and would leak water, and be viable to strain pressures in the back of the camera.So I bought several right angle adapters, so the cable could be connected aimed down from the camera's back. Of the adapters I bought, done fit snuggly into the camera's USB-C port. That is, none but this one. The plastic "bezel" around the metal plug fit perfectly. In fact, it took a bit of pressure to snap the adapter into the camera. It's a bit tighter fit than the camera's "brick" cable.I agree with the other 5 star reviews. Very well made. I bought 8, but I'm going to more for other cameras with suspect cable connections.

I bought this to rotate the power cable for my tiny second monitor 90 degrees. It keeps my desk free of wires. Note that the adapters are not the same; one is reversed from the other. It has been about six months and I've had no issues with the adapters.

My laptop is on a small stand, and I didn't like how my charging cable came out the side then downward-- causing stress on the USB-C port. Plus I have a magnetic quick-connect making it sensitive to disconnects. This angle connector did the job. Now my connection goes straight down, and the magnetic connector has a much more solid connection; it no longer disconnects on its own as it did before.

Purchased these to use on our Ring Doorbell to plug in the solar panel. It wasn't charging and the doorbell was brought inside (adapter still plugged in) and placed on the charger. We assumed it was the knock-off solar panel we had purchased. But after 6 hours on charge, the doorbell was dropping in battery. I unplugged the adapter and plugged in the charger and voila! It started charging. So I tried both adapters on my phone. Neither worked. Returning immediately.
