Do these toilet tabs disinfect?

No, our toilet cleaner tablets do not eliminate bacteria or viruses. In designing this product, our team felt that given most toilets are in constant use, focusing on using the most people-friendly ingredients without sacrificing an effective clean would create the best product, and we do not feel disinfecting properties are required for getting a clean toilet.

What is the permanent container made of?

It would be better to make a permanent box out of a thick cardboard than metal. Seems like a bit of a waste. Agree with others it's better to use your own repurposed container.

Are these septic safe?

All septic systems are different, but we do not use any solvents, chlorine bleach, or other harsh chemicals, all of which may cause septic system issues.

Is the toilet bowl tabs harmful to animals?

We are happy to share that our products are safe to use around pets. We have developed our products without volatile organic compounds (VOCs) so that they are safe for you, pregnant/nursing women, children, and animals!
