CMK87-SA Single-Mode Mechanical Keyboard 87 Keys Full-Key Hot-Swappable Office Gaming Keyboard Standard 80% Layout (Black)

After hesitating between starting from a barebone and build my own and this, I ended up wanting to give this keyboard a shot.In a nutshell:-Well built, heavy plastic framed keyboard-This one is USB only which is what I wanted.-RGB is good except for white (all three colors on at the same time)-Great linear switch-Above average keycap quality-Color theme is an acquired taste-Has Mac support though wish keycaps would reflect it.Though it is a bit on the pricy side, it is a solid and heavy keyboard with lots of options.The linear switches on it are a marvel and it comes with upper middle end keycaps.It has north facing SMD LEDs which some purist will not recommend but for what I was looking for, using through lighting keycaps, it was ideal.It doesn't have a metal frame but is heavy enough and rigid enough that it actually behaves essentially almost like one.It offers a switch to swap functionality of modifier keys between Windows Mac but the keycaps do not hint of any mac support. Not a big deal if you are going to swap the keycaps...The RGB works great but brightness in white appears very limited. Somehow get the feeling that there is a total power limitation and that the LED is a full brightness only when at most 2 out of the three colors is on. It dimms down once all three are on.The software works great on windows but failed to detect my keyboard on the Mac.
