I purchased a 96" wide blackout shade for my TV room window. This was the best price I could find for such a large shade, so I didn't have high expectations for quality, but to my surprise the parts are mostly metal, not plastic. The shade installed easily with four brackets for a solid mount. I like the cordless design, especially on a large blind. I'm very happy with this purchase so far. Curious to see how well it holds up over time.

I purchased this type of blind to cover a large picture window. We needed something that would stay wide open during the day and that was easy to pull down for our privacy at night.Installation instructions were easy to understand and the actual installation was a snap.My recommendation is to prepare and think it through before you begin installing this blind.I needed to install the three included clips to the top of the window. I used painters tape to mark the approximate location from the sides. I used one of the included clips as a setback gauge so that they would line up. I marked the location for where I would need to install screws and I drilled pilot holes.Then, I removed the tape and installed the three included clips.Having prepared well, the blind was easy to snap into the three included clips.There is an included clip that snaps onto the bottom of the blind so that you don't have to pull on the bottom of the blind itself. It is convenient to use. This clip has a hole in it so that you can use a stick with a "hook" to grab it if needed to pull it down if the window is mounted slightly out of reach. Ours was. BTW, a hook of this type did not come with the blind. I made one and it gets the job done.Operation: The blind opens with very little effort. It closes just as easily.Construction: The blind material appears to be some type of synthetic paper type of material. I can't say what will happen to it over time. But, for the moment I'm pleased with the result because it arrived intact, was manufactured as described, and it met all of my expectations.Would I purchase again? Yes.

These cellular shades were so easy to install. We did a trial run with one shade to see if we were able to make it work and then we ordered 3 more shades. We completed the project for all windows within an hour and we are pleased with how they look, the ease of raising and lowering and the blocking of light. The quality is very good, we’ll have to wait and see how durable they are, how long they last. The shipping time was reasonable and the the accuracy of the custom size was perfect. Would recommended.

These blinds are so fabulous. I am now looking around the rest of my house figuring out what other windows I can order these blinds for.I went for inside mount, not black out, white. They look great; they're easy to install; they're easy to put up and down; I can't believe I would have to close to the doors to these rooms for privacy when this was such a straightforward fix.We got a quote from a blind store that included professional measuring and installation, as well as pretty much the same blinds. It was going to be $1000 for these two windows. We saved over 50% by ordering these.I measured myself and took care down to the 1/8 of an inch. I then asked my wife to measure and record her findings separately. We then compared to make sure we got as accurate of a measurement as possible. We measured at the top and bottom of the windows to check for squareness.I made the order and the company contacted me within 12 hours to confirm the measurements and make recommendations.These blinds are legit custom. We tried to narrow down the width of one of the blinds and the company responded advising against it. I appreciate the feedback and we went with their expertise. The blinds fit like a glove... thankfully they just squeeze in the window w/ the dark blue wall without any wasted space. It's tight but works. There is a bit more wiggle room on the wide window w/ the light blue wall and they still fully cover the window and look great. If you are at all concerned that you are between measurements or if your window isn't square, I would estimate down 1/8".Install was straightforward. Click the brackets into the top of the blinds. Hold the blinds up to where you want them. Draw around the bracket. Detach the bracket from blinds. Screw the bracket to the windowsill where you made the mark. Click the blinds into the bracket that's now attached to the windowsill. Voila - you won't believe you just fixed your no-blinds problem. You'll feel like a million bucks.I paid extra for fast shipping and they were a week late. I contacted the seller who, again, responded right away and refunded the shipping cost. It's not their fault that shipping was late, but they stepped up to the plate immediately and addressed the problem.I don't usually write reviews, but this has been an exceptional Amazon experience. The product is 100% custom and looks great, the price is reasonable, the install was easy, and the seller has good communication. I am planning to order more blinds from these folks and would recommend them to others.Thank you for our new blinds!**JUNE 2023 UPDATE: I did it - I ordered blinds for the rest of the house and they're great. These blinds are perfect!! Our window is over 80” wide and 80” long, but these blinds are still light and easy to raise and lower. When closed on a sunny day, the room is still bright and yet the heat is definitely kept out. I love them!!! And the price was so much more affordable than any other options I could find. Quality feels great. I personally chose to give a measurement that was 1/8” narrower than the actual width of our window (inside mount), because I really wanted to make sure it wouldn’t be too tight (even though I knew they would also be taking off 1/8”), and it fits great. It probably would have fit without that, but, especially with such a big space, I didn’t fully trust our own measurements and would rather have a tiny bit of extra space than not be able to fit them. No regrets.

Great customer service. On the Amazon site, they only allow you to measure to the 1/8 of an inch. But you also get to write a note. If you need to go to 1/16 of an inch, just write it in the notes, and they will contact you and make sure you get your measurements exact. Looks great, works great. Easy to install, even for one person. The actual blinds feel a little flimsy, but they have held up well. I noticed the other day in my dentist has the same kind, and theirs looked great also. Sidenote: the screws they sent me broke, so maybe use your own. I would takeoff a star for that, except it was such a minor inconvenience, and I love the blinds so much.

I am very satisfied with the quality of this blind, and the materials seem to top notch. It arrived very well packaged, and quite quickly (from China). It was easy to install, and fitted perfectly well - the instructions for measuring before ordering and the fact that they contact you to confirm size shortly after you place the order, ensure a good fit. Overall we are extremely pleased with it. There are only three minor negative points I would like to make. First, after you secure the little metal brackets to your window frame or wall (depending on fitting), make sure that you follow the instructions carefully when clipping the blind into the brackets. I got blind casing clipped in perfectly into three of the brackets, but not so perfectly into the fourth bracket, and it was really difficult getting it out of the brackets to refit it correctly. Secondly, and this is very minor, the little plastic handle that clips into the bottom of the blind m, for raising and lowering it, although nicely made, slips out of position frequently because it slips on the shiny paint finish on the bottom channel - I may end up removing that and securing it with some clear two-sided adhesive tape. Lastly, the little wand that they provide could have a better-designed end on it - it's awkward to hook it in and out of the handle when raising and lowering the blind, but that should only be a problem for taller blinds. For shorter blinds you shouldn't need to use the wand.

I ordered these blackout blinds for an area where we get a lot of direct, very hot, sunlight for most of the day, and they are very efficient at blocking out a lot of that light and heat....I’m sure they will also do the same with the cold, come winter.I ordered 5 sets of blinds and was so happy when , one after the other, during installation day, fit perfectly, until I was installing the last and largest one, which was too big for an inside mount.I contacted the company and , after explaining the problem, they stated they would make another one, to my exact measurements. I am not sure who made the mistake that resulted in the blind being too big. If you have been looking at these blinds you know that the company takes your exact window measurements and deducts the appropriate amount, for an inside mount, and you don’t have to bother with that calculation. On my re-order of the same blind, we agreed to use my exact measurements with no deductions made, and, when it arrived, the fit was perfect. So, yes, I would re-order if I had a need.
