"Roughing it" while camping does not mean giving up smoothies! Our blender has been on safari in Kenya, to a week-long stay in Kansas City, and camping trips to the Appalachian Mountains. It is only six months old, but seems to be holding up well. It does take several cycles to fully blend tougher pieces of fruit, like pineapple or frozen chucks of strawberry (keep them small, not whole berries!). But it eventually gets there, not all that much slower than our (cheaper) home blender. I give it 4 stars because of the biggest annoyance - the two-piece top, which I don't understand and is unnecessarily hard to clean. I don't know what the perforated inner lid is all about, but the thread sizes are different, so it can't just be omitted.It is a joy to have this blender. Sipping a smoothie while watching a beautiful sunrise or sunset is just great!

Pros: Able to blend stuffs on the go. Fast, efficient, clean, neat. Brought it to the gym all the time now, gotta love how people stare at you when you bzzzzt that protein shake.Cons: Can't use it while recharging. It means that if you forgot to charge it and threw your mix in it, you'll have to wait a while to drink.Update. Stop working after 9 months. Now I can't use it for more than 30 seconds without have to recharge it. Don't bother buying this

I don't normally write reviews and this could be a fluke incident but broke at the base and created a HUGE mess in my office. There were chunks of stuff everywhere that I am still cleaning up. It broke where the clear plastic piece attaches to the base. It looked like it just unscrewed itself so I screwed it back in and tried it again, but this time in the tub behind my shower curtain. Thank God I did because it did it again and I had stuff everywhere. I bought this product because I travel a lot and wanted to make my protein shakes on the road. I have only had it a couple of weeks. Again, this could have been a fluke but I wanted to make people aware of the possibility of this happening.

If you want to blend anything more than water consistentsy, don't buy this "blender". It worked great for mixing water and protein powder, but even just adding 1 tablespoon of creamy peanut butter was too much for it. It says you can put ice, fruit, etc in it, so I tried some small berries and followed the instructions to make sure I wasn't messing anything up. It wouldn't blend for more than a second before the light started flashing.I also tried adding less and less peanut butter to my protein shake, but it just won't work. Again, if you just want to mix some protein powder and water, this will work for you. But it's not a blender like it says.

This item is pretty cool. My only complaint is that it's annoying to clean but what isn't? I use this for my morning shakes and I have to take out the little rubber circles to make sure I get under there (there's 3 of them) and the base is so touchy since it's the base that gets charged and used since the blade is touching the food. I'm rambling but yeah, it gets the job done though!

it literally only worked once. I have charged it and now it wont blend. I followed instructions and it just wont work. I was very excited after the first time because i could finally make smoothies at work. Dont bother with this product.

This portable blender is just what I needed. I was looking for a blender bottle that would be easy to carry and could mix up fruits and veggies. You do have to cut the fruit and veggies a bit before putting them in the bottle, it doesn't blend large pieces correctly. I wanted something I could use at work, where I blended the items inside and be able to drink directly from the bottle. I have only used it a few times and I have not had any problems. You plug up the bottle to the USB cord that comes with it to charge. I charge it overnight and it's ready to go in the morning. The fact that it comes in my favorite color was a plus.

I just bought this blender a week ago . It’s powerful motor. So far, it does what we want it to do. Love how small it is and takes up little counter space.I try out some shakes and to try and make homemade smoothies. I have to say that I love this thing. I have made milkshakes for my kid,nice creamy smoothies,I haven't used whole ice cubes in it, so I can't comment on that, but I use the pellet ice and it works great! Also you can drink right out of the cup which saves time washing dishes also very easy to clean. very good blenders.
