Cellphone alarm just wasn't loud enough. Love that this alarm increasingly gets louder. Easy snooze feature, light works great and easy to read. No problem using knobs to set time and alarm. I don't have arthritis so can't speak from that perspective. Very pleased with this clock and alarm. Has kept perfect time!

This clock is perfect & so easy to set up. The alarm starts out with a slight beep & slowly goes louder. Easy button on the side to turn off.Press the button on the top for light. The size is just right and easy to read. Will take it with us on our travels.

The lock is a classic item. It shows the time quietly. There is no ticking noise. The numbers are clear. I tried the alarm. It was clear and not too loud. It is simple to set. Just one battery and it runs perfectly.I like my sort of old-fashioned clock very much. It is much better than trying to figure out how to set up the new digital ones.

A good clock with a few things light sleepers should be aware of. A quiet clock with one exception. If you do not want to use the alarm to sleep in, you must move the alarm hand past the time you think you will wake up. Even with the alarm off, as the clock goes past the alarm time a loud CLICK occurs which will wake light sleepers up. Also, the light does illuminate the entire dial but is very bright which may prevent some light sleepers from returning to sleep.

This clock is just a bit larger than I expected based on the picture, which is perfect for stability, as most small alarm clocks are hard to see, hard to pick up and they often disappear into the clutter on a bedside table. The clock face is bold and easy to read. This clock has a very bright, impressive really, backlight, with a top mounted bar to turn it on. After a moment it turns off on its own. It has a second hand, so one glance confirms it is running as it should. Most of all, unlike the tiny travel alarm it replaces, it runs completely silent. No more lying awake all night clearly hearing every second tick off. Very pleased with it.

Lovely little clock. The face has very easy to read numbers. I also like the fact that there is no ticking sound. Just the clock for a small space. It even has a nite light if the power were to go out. Very pleased with this purchase.

appearance is nice. love the bright, large numbers. volume is good. doesn't scare you awake. no ticking noise. lightweight. keeps accurate time.

it has only been a week, but the clock keeps time, has easy to set time and alarm , has good, large easy to read numbers and a nice light to read the number at night, the alarm is also good, not jarring, but wakes me up
