Love these shorts! Great for casual but definitely look nice enough for dressier occasions. I've bought so many pairs for both my boys, in about every size offered. Made well and wash up nicely. Sized appropriately. Highly recommend!

Can be dressed up or down for different functions as well. Runs a little big in the waist but can be tied so that's nice.

its childrens place, how can you go wrong?? they have the quality and it is often true to size. the fabric is smooth cotton, not terry. i love the silver because it blends nicely with my 11yr old son's tshirt collection and nice when we go to dinner. it falls right above his knees, my son is a few inches taller than the average, therefore the size 16. he will be able to wear it again next summer. he is tall and thin, so we get the length and the shorts have working drawstrings that are wide and structured enough that the strings dont crunch in their waistband. i rushed w as many pairs when childrens place go on sale like this. thank you. i love the deep but flat pockets and the side slit is nice and indiscreet. the seams are will reinforced for the HSP [Highly Sensitive Person]

These are great for uniforms and my son has worn these for years. They are stretchy, true to size, great material, and very minimal wrinkles. The color is exactly what we needed and you can’t beat the price.

Good shorts but not stretchy material so they are quite a bit smaller than expected. They look good just won't fit. Super comfortable.

Got these for my son to wear and the material is good. The draw strings make it easier for him. It’s soft and the color was perfect for school. It stays after a million washes and it has pockets.

Love these shorts for my son. They make him look so handsome. Perfect for casual dress up for church, easy to put on with a tie to tighten if needed. So comfortable and able to play in. Size was true to size.
