I have usd these router bits on several project from Oak to Spalted Maple. The do very well with hardwood and my cuts are quite articulate. Obviously I do not want any mistakes to happen at this stage of construction as my wood is hand selected and some is quite rare. These bits have allowed me to retain my overall shop costs which have helped us maintain our project price points.

I'm using these on cigar box guitars to cut F Holes. They work great and are a good value.

They’re not professional grade for a commercial environment, but 5-stars because they are well worth the lower cost to meet the needs of an average DIY homeowner/handyman. These did everything I needed them to do, and will have them for other small projects throughout the years. I will check the bearings often, as other reviews stated they fell off - mine were good though. These reviews may have been user error. The key is, don’t allow them to overheat. Heat will destroy any sharp cutting tool, no matter how expensive. Take small passes rather than one single pass.
