Picture quality is good when the memory card is removed and inserted into my computer. The video quality of the LCD is not that good.The battery says it is fully charged, but it will not remember the settings or the time if the power is cycled. I charged it overnight, and that made no difference at all. If the time is not, at least close, the recording is not going to be accepted in court.The fully charged battery appears to be insufficient to power the device for more than about 30 seconds. As stated above, the battery cannot maintain the time and date, or any other user settings.The functions of the buttons appear to function differently than the manual suggests. Sometimes the button with the cog icon enters settings, and the button with the four squares icon takes a still photo. Other times the functions appear to be reversed. Other times the device appears to hang, and pressing buttons result only in beeps. The device must be power cycled.The vendor says he will replace the device, but I am skeptical. He appears to be the typical Chinese vendor on Amazon.Update: A week has passed. The camera has failed, and now the display is now blank all the time. I checked the fully charged device and discovered that it pulls 140mA when powered down. I opened the case. The battery is labeled 300mA Hour. Assuming the battery is really a 300mA Hour battery, the device will fully drain it in about two hours. There is no way your settings, and the time can be maintained overnight.Update: The seller replaced the camera. The new one appears to work.

Returned this because it does not have loop recording capability. It does work fine. Video quality was fine. Beware: before ordering make sure your sun visor will clear this. It sticks out about 2 inches past the original mirror and may interfere with the movement of the visor. For me, not having the looping feature was a deal breaker. If you don't mind having to format the card every time it fills up then this is that camera for you.

So far not that great experience. The first unit screen went bad just after the return window expired, and for the price, I got a second unit, that is still working.The packaging is not bad. The manuals are amateurish, and seem to be a literal translation form another language. Some of the instructions are confusing.Sometimes becomes really unstable, some of the settings reset on their own to the factory default. Move detector is not 100% reliable. No storage management, but for the price it is being sold at, and if you are curious how these devices work, its relatively cheap.My interest in getting a dashcam and a rear cam for my 2003 car started after I got falsely accused of hitting a pedestrian, and I had no dashcam/rear cam to expose that lie, an eye witness took care of that. That's why I got this. So if you are looking for a solid product that can clear you out of an accusation or out of a ticket, then look for something else, this is not the product for that.Pros:Good for the price tag. You get what you pay for.Relatively easy to install and setup.Picture quality not bad at this price.Cons:Unstable. Acts weird, settings reset on their own.Does not manage storage space. All of sudden you run out of space and the only reliable way is to format since some videos will locked.Buttons need sometimes to be pressed more than once.Unable to remember the view settings you selected.Inconsistent move detector.

I have had it for 2 weeks now and have been happy with it. Video is very clear and steady. Not jerky. Installation was easy. My only issue is that the tint on the mirror is dark so at night or even during the day with dark window tint it can be sometimes hard to see behind you. Other than that very good product.

Love this dash cam! There are a lot of crazy drivers around where I live! I have been wanting to get a dash cam but they are either too expensive or too obvious (a lot of car breaks in to steal anything valuable). This front camera is disguised as a mirror and does its job perfectly. Having been using it for 3 days, I am quite satisfied with it.

Was working fine for a good 6 months before it started to shut off by itself about 1 min. after powering on and the Sandisk microsd card we used with it is no longer recognizable by any other PC or device. Cheap Chinese electronics.

I have had this dash cam for about three years and it provided excellent value over that time and still continues to provide value. The best feature of this dashcam is that you can playback video on the screen at the scene of an accident. This is much easier than pulling the card and having to use a computer to get the footage. The camera also records audio. Another great feature is that it has 2 cameras so you can record the front and rear or interior of the car at the same time. This dash camera gets the job done and is a useful tool for anybody who drives a car. Excellent price and value.

I liked this product a lot, until the backup camera became 'unfocused' within the first month. It is somehow locked on 'micro-focus', somewhere within an inch of the camera. I've tried cleaning, re-setting, etc and can't find a fix or a replacement. If I hear from the manufacturer I'll update my review. Because the backup part of this system is more important to me then the rest, I can only give it a 2.
