MAXSA Innovations Park Right Garage Laser Park, Dual Lasers in All White

I ordered this device after one of my neighbors installed it in his garage. I was impressed. When I received my unit he installed it for me and we found that the unit had an intermittent failure with the LED's. So I was bummed out and called the Customer Support line. It was about 5:15 EDT and Rita answered the phone in a few rings. I explained the problem. she agreed the unit was faulty and would replace it. She said I needed to forward my confirmation email from my Amazon purchase. I said that it was after 5:00 and was that her normal end of day for work. She said yes but told me that she would wait until I found my email and forward to her with the necessary shipping information so she s=could prepare it for shipping. I received the replacement unit in two days. Way to go Rita.It was easy to install the replacement module since I had the mounting bracket and wiring already in place. The unit was positioned for both cars and works great. My neighbor varied the installation by running the wiring into the attic and connecting to the garage door opener bulb socket using an outlet adapter. Not only is this a clean look, it allows the unit to turn on when the garage opens but does not need to function when I am working around in the garage.Also, I am ordering additional units for Christmas gifts since friends are using the tennis ball strung form the ceiling and other rigged methods.

TL;DR Easy to install, works as described. See my tips at the bottom for finding the right spot to point the laser.This was exactly what I needed to keep from running into the front of my garage. Installation took about 30 minutes (which was less than I thought since installing things generally takes about twice as long as it should for me) and wasn't difficult at all, just make sure you have an outlet near where you want this to go. I put it in between my two vehicles on the ceiling and I'm able to move the lasers wherever I want independently for each vehicle. I've never seen the laser actually turn off after a period of inactivity because I'm always in the house before the period has elapsed, but I'll take their word for it that it does.Tips for Positioning:At first I was trying to pick a spot to hit exactly on the dash, but I realized I need to pick a method that let me have more leeway to the left and right. Also I realized that it's better to have a spot that I have to drive past rather than drive up to, or else I'd frequently have to go into reverse because I went too far. So now I have the laser positioned so it tells me when my rear bumper has cleared the garage door; this way I know as soon as that happens I can stop any time, and I have a few feet in front of me before I hit anything. The spot I use is the edge of the dashboard because it goes across the entire width of the car rather than trying to find a particular mark on just the drivers or passengers side. So if I'm a few feet left or right, I still can see the laser clear the dashboard.

Amazing product (and parking aide concept). I have about 8 inches of slack in my garage to park our new Sienna, and this tool was the best parking aid tool i could think of to purchase to help prevent any collisions.How it worked best in our 2023 Sienna:Perform the “perfect park” in your garage. Line up the laser to center up with the center speaker on the dash. It’s about 4x4 inches in size, and decently easy to hit everytime. I just tell me wife to make sure the laser is in the speaker everytime she parks and she’s good to go.

Screw it to the ceiling, plug it in and aim the lasers. That's it! No problems.

Definitely happy with it's performance. Installation was easy. The laser is very bright. Essentially this device makes it easy to park perfectly every time. My only criticism is that I would prefer the laser stay on a few seconds longer than it does. A few times when something going on in the car made me have to slow down as we were pulling into the garage I had to back up in order to trigger the motion detector to turn on the laser again. Other than that it has been perfectly reliable.You should be aware the red dot will be visible on the ground in an empty garage. My eye is still drawn to it almost every time the garage is empty and I walk through. It is possible for it to shine into your eye for a brief moment if you walk in just the right spot though that is of course very unlikely.All in all, I would buy it again if I had to outfit a second garage.

Sensor works well. Price is good. Laser range of motion is restricted for two vehicles. Test the placement BEFORE installation for the two.
