Its really got a strong grip.
It was well past time replace my old Sears Craftsman spring gripper screwdrivers but I never found something similar anywhere else. I did some Internet research before spending my money. This maker gets really good feedback on their tools and they had the gripper tips, so I decided on these. The tips on all of the blades are ground hard very precisely. Much better made than the cheapo stuff from the local big box and even better than the pricier stuff from the local DIY hardware stores. The fit of the #2 Phillips screwdriver is tight and you won't be slipping out or stripping any screw heads. The gripper spring works really well. almost too well, you'll need to learn a lift and twist motion to separate your driver from the screw head. I like the shape of the handle, seems to fit my extra large hands quite well. There is a hole thru the handle so you can use another screwdriver for leverage on a really tight screw. It is kind of pricey, but when you need to start a screw in tight quarters, then using a good tool is much better than losing screws deep inside a PC case or auto body console. Can't speak for durability since I've only had these a short while.Thank You Amazon for carrying such quality products.

When you gotta have one!
Almost perfect for what I needed to get done. Wish they sold a shorter one.

Handy when you can’t afford to drop a screw.
Very handy tool. Good feel, grippy without being to sticky. Allows me to get in tight spaces. I use it to grab non Phillips screws too once they are almost out. One of my go to tools on my hip when you simply can’t drop a screw. My only only gripe is metal spring can get a little bent outward. However the design makes it still grab head of screw when you pull back on it. Hard to describe how it works; it is not a spring that holds or let’s go rather a pressure that holds screw head snugly or allows tangs to just get out of way for normal screwing. The tangs are slightly in the way for everyday screwdriver, but perfect for not dropping a screw.

Expensive, action is a bit rough, but overall it is satisfactory
I had an old Sears Craftsman screw holding screwdriver for more than 30 years which was wonderful, but eventually wore out. Its action was very smooth and the "fingers" were wider but thinner (flatter) than the fingers on this screwdriver. So far, I have tried two replacement for my no-longer working Craftsman screwdriver, and this one is the better one of the two, so I will keep it. There are very few of these made any more.

Very useful screwdriver, saves a lot of frustration.
This is the best screw holding driver I have ever used. It will get into hard to reach places with no worry about dropping the screw. Very good strong grip. Worth every cent.

Happy
Works great, but I can't comment on the durability. I haven't used very much, but it does seem durable.

Works well when you need it.
When you really need something to hold the screw while you are starting it.

Excellent Product
This screwdriver grips the screws very strongly, the screws will not drop off. It may be necessary to finish the job with a different screwdriver as the screw catch mechanism may get in the way of fully tightening the screw. An absolute marvel for those tight places where you can't get your hands in.
