The adventure to another world continues . . . In ANOTHER world!
I've grown to really love this series, so much so that I have been reading the light novels while waiting for the manga to be published since I can't wait to see what happens next. As with the last two books Naofumi continues his journey as the shield hero. It begins with their arrival in a world similar to the one they left, yet different. The action and story are exciting and downright fun with exploration and more importantly plot progress with major questions answered at long last. It still suffers some in the beginning with the very long introduction explaining everything in the prior books and a little Grammar correction needed. An excellent read as always and getting to see this in manga form in the future really gets me excited! This one was probably my favorite chapter in the series to date, I've already read it three times!

Interesting Isekai Twist LIGHT SPOILS
I'm no professional reviewer but it was a good continuation of the The Shield Hero's story, I'll try to avoid spoilers but very light ones ahead. Following the events of Book 7 and its cliffhanger ending with Naofumi chasing after the baddy into the portal into his world Naofumi finds himself in a mysterious new place and missing many of his party members. This book provides a few new interesting characters and Rishia gets some more focus as well. The ending also left me excited to start the next book Shield Hero keeps me interested yet again.

amazing book with some flaws at the beginning
i have to say i love this series and the next book comes out tomorrow and im excited for it, now for my thoughts on this particular vol (slight spoliers)the badit starts out really slow, he essentially is back at lvl 1 at the beginning of the book giving a weird awkward feeling to the reader at times because of the reset in the progression that you have made with the characters through the other volumes and things have been moving so quickly in the past vol that you just want to skip all the uninteresting parts that you have already been through. ( it picks up quickly so don't worry)speaking of which the prologs are sooooo loong in every vol in the series, they essentially dedicate a whole chapter (not a half a WHOLE CHAPTER like 15 pages) to remind you the things that you already know, like he starts off saying "my name is... and im the shield hero and here is my entire life story" at the beginning of every vol, the worst part is that they mix the current story with the prolog so if you do not read that chapter and skip to chapter 1 you miss out on important dialog. (highly recommend just reading only the quotes in the prologs)some bad spelling and grammar at timesthe goodthe character and his struggles are so interesting that you cant stop reading, you want to now more and see him overcome the obstacle in his way despite what the people think of him. the monsters, the friends, the enemies are all extremely interesting and you will be craving for more.the fights are understandable and give you a good idea of what is happening and they visualize the scenery pretty well.and last but not least the amount of quality story you get from the such cheap price is amazing and i highly recommend this book despite the flaws i mentioned.i would give this book and the others a 9/10

Isekai-ception!
This Volume was nice change of pace. For once, Naofumi isn’t betrayed, and he doesn’t have to deal with idiots who hold major power. Falling into a trap by following Kyo into Glass’ world, Naofumi and Rishia are dumped into a labyrinth prison, separated from the rest of the Shield party. The first thing Naofumi and Rishia realize is that their levels are reset to Level 1.So, now while trying to figure out where they are, they have to make sure they aren’t killed due to the loss of their stats, skills and bonuses. During their time trying to level up and regain some the strength they’d lost, they come across monsters too strong for them to take down. In swoops a new character, Kizuna Kazayama, the “Hunting Hero,” who fills them in on where they are (the aforementioned prison). What follows is a struggle to escape the prison, and track down Raphtalia and Filo, as well as Glass, Therese and L’Arc.Of course, trusting Kizuna doesn’t come easy for Naofumi, as most of the people he trusts ends up hurting him somehow, so he’s a a bit antagonistic. At least he realizes that his attitude and outlook are problematic, though I’m not sure if its something that’ll be addressed moving forward. I hope he comes to be more trusting, as not everyone is out to get him. Despite the fact that he’s been betrayed quite a few times.I did enjoy this story set in another world. An isekai within an isekai…isekai-ception. In all seriousness though, following Naofumi as he, Rishia and Kizuna search for the rest of their respective parties, well it was a fun journey. We also learned more about the other heroes, the way the vassal weapons work, and the role the heroes of world play. It’s always always enlightening when we learn more about the world(s) and how things work. What’s the purpose of the Waves? What are the heroes to do? Can all the different worlds survive, or will they be doomed to destruction. Only time will tell how the revelations in this Volume impact things in the future.

Isekai and Isekai
This book is a great addition to the series, but it is a little weird at first. Easy to read but it did contain some typos. It gave some great information as to the waves. This series is too good
