Do not buy for GameCube get a retro prism instead
So I haven’t played GameCube(GC) since probably 2010 and it was on an old CRTV Jump to 2024 and I’m reliving my childhood. I purchased this hdmi adapter so I can play my new/used “GC” on my Samsung 4k Smart tv the adapter works and everything but the game image is so blurry and dark it is not even remotely fun to play I thought to myself I don’t remember the graphics being that terrible maybe I’m just used to modern graphics so with a little research I learned that reasons it looked so terrible was because obviously the GC was not designed for hd modern tvs so I stumble upon a few options most on the pricy side unfortunately but I found a solution the Retro Prism of your cheaper options but works great 80$ compared to300$ look it up and decide for yourself

Plug and play. Works great.
Worked to connect my N64 to my Vizio tv via hdmi. Screen resolution is as good as can be for such an old platform. plug and play very straightforward. It’s cool to be able to Play these vintage games again. Resolution is a little blurry but like the other comments said that’s more of the TVs fault than this connector. I did get the blue screen and just used an alcohol wipe on the console and game and it worked fine.

Worked pretty good
Works like it’s suppose to but for some reason still a little hazy if you have a larger than 40 inch screen tv. It’s not that the products fault but I wanted to mention a little let down

Perfect for N64 to smart TV
The media could not be loaded. I was wanting to get my old school Nintendo 64 working on my newer smart TV in my living room. I wanted something simple and plug and play to accomplish this. Product arrived on time and in a nice box to keep it protected while being shipped. The product pictures and description was exactly as it showed up. Took it out of the box and it was plug and play couldnt be any simpler. Nice little add on I wasnt expecting was the included HDMI cord so I didnt have to go and get one from my garage. Been using it for about 1 week now and it is working great. No issues at all. Color and clarity seem like I rememebered it to be on a N64 20 years ago when I got this system new for christmas. I would highly recommend this.

Poor video quality.
This adapter makes GameCube games so dark and shadowy that you can barely see where you are going. Tried it on multiple TVs and TV settings, tried messing with contrast and other things. No matter what I did it came out so dark with almost no color, just shadow. Also the including HDMI cord didn’t work at all. I’m sure that was a fluke but it does show poor quality control. I would not recommend this adapter to anyone.

Works as perfect as possible.
I'm glad I didn't read the negative reviews because the one I received works perfectly. I've had no issues in the few days that I've been using it. I've only used it with my 27" TV so far. I Imagine the picture might look worse on bigger TVs but the Game Cube wasn't exactly designed for huge TVs so this is to be expected. I'm so glad I no longer have to deal with the Red/White/Yellow cable thing and I can now connect my GC to my HDMI splitter. The picture was a bit darker than I'd like, but picking the "game" setting on my TV fixed that issue quickly. If you get one that doesn't work. Request a replacement before posting a negative review.

Best value for the money
I have used several of these types of boxes/adapters and they always seem to fail after a while. This one seems to be doing its job quite nicely. The picture may be a little dark (or my eyes aren't what they used to be).In either case, it's far from unplayable. It's quite nice having a slightly better (sharper) picture and a single modern cable (that doesn't require its own power supply).
