I have tried a TON of curl products. Some of them left me unimpressed. I use Treluxe hair products and really like them. I came across Love Ur Curls curling cream and really liked the price point coupled with the reviews. There were two or three other products in the same arena, but I randomly decided to try this one first. My hair is dry and tends to get frizzy, particularly the day after I wash it until the next wash. I never brush or comb it other than right before I wash it because it gets HUGE. I run my fingers through it to get tangles out in between. My hair is a combination of ringlets, curls and waves; no tight or coily curls. I have never seen my hair look oily. I actually add oil in between washes. Hair strands are thinner but there's a lot of it. I've only used it once. What I notice is that my curls are softer. What is really different is that the soft curl stays for a couple of days without getting frizzy. I washed my hair two days ago and not only is the curl still looking good, but my hair isn't as "bushy/frizzy" as it usually gets between washes. I'm a fan so far!

I'm not usually one to start throwing around over-inflated accolades when it comes to hair care products, so trust me when I say that this is a GAME CHANGER for me.I've worn my hair straight for over 4 decades of my life, since when it was left to air dry, my hair would expand into a huge, swirling vortex of chaos, frizz, uneven waves, and a couple of random curls in weird places. Some education on how to care for wavy/curly hair sent me down the rabbit hole of product after product, trying to make my natural waves/curls look like the women in the curly product ads. All of the ads and how-to videos all seem to require a minimum of three hair products, specialized drying techniques, a phoenix feather, a haiku to the gods of hair care, and a drop of unicorn blood to get the same results. And even then, the results were over-perfumed, dull, sticky and/or crunchy at best, and lost hold throughout the day.And here's the problem for me: I'm a chronic hair-toucher. I can NOT stop messing around with it all day long. With most of the curly hair regimens, that leaves me with uneven crunchiness, hair that flattens out over the course of the day, and sticky, perfumey hands. And I can tell you with absolute confidence that no partner wants to run their fingers through crunch and stickiness either.Enter, Love Ur Curls all-in-one. For starters, with this I only need to buy one product, and I don't need to waste time in the morning layering a bunch of things onto my hair, and a little goes a long way. Further, the scent is light and disappears quickly, leaving just the scent of my shampoo/conditioner. And the final results are as good or better than the more complicated curly hair systems. It gives good definition and hold, but more than this - and here's where you can imagine the light of the sun breaking through the clouds and a choir of angels singing from on high - my wavy hair is both touchably soft and NOT STICKY AT ALL.My search is over. I need no other curl products.TL;DR - Good value, light scent, gives great curl activation and definition all in one product, all-day hold, and leaves curls touchable and soft, without grease, stickiness, or crunch. 100 stars on a scale of 1 to 10.

As a curly girl, this is one of the best styling aids that I've used. Light hold, not crunchy, not too heavy, low scent, mixes well with other products when I add them too.

I've just started treating my wavy hair for what it is instead of fighting to make it straight. After some research, I found this product as a good starting point for a wavy hair routine. You get a lot of product for the price and it helped soften and define my hair's natural texture.Bonus - it smells good too!

I wanted to love this, so badly. I have healthy, very long 2b, almost 2c hair that hasn't been touched by heat or dyes in SEVERAL years. Before purchasing this I did a pretty extensive amount of reading and researching "curly girl" methods and products, and landed on this guy.The first time I used it, my hair was soft, my curls were more defined than usual, and my hair felt nice and light. And it smells AMAZING.Fast forward four more uses (yes, I followed the directions exactly, and even watched a couple videos on the proper way to apply it) and my hair is a frizzy, dried out mess.I wanted this to work, it has all the good stuff wavy/curly hair should love and leaves out the silicones, sulfates, etc. But my hair ended up absolutely hating it.I went back to what I was using before this, and my hair is back to it's smooth, curly/wavy self.

Works well taming my coarse curly hair

This stuff transformed my hair when I started using it around 2018. It smells good, it isn't crunchy or stiff, it gives your hair the structure and support it needs to bring out the curl if you have wavy hair, lasts all day, doesn't dry out your hair. It's pricey imo but a little goes a long way and it truly is an amazing product, so you are getting what you pay for.
