I got mine to use while wearing my toddler in a baby carrier so we’d be warm and humid outside in the cold dry air and wind. It works great for us! I’m tall and lean(5’9”~136lbs) and so is my 15 month old(83cm tall and ~24lbs).I opened it and aired it out a few days and there is no lingering smell now. I also hit the clear windows with a hot blow dryer to get rid of the wrinkles from it being packed up when I first got it.The windows do fog up when it’s cold outside so I unzip the windows a little to air it out. I think I’ll put a little towel in it for wiping the condensation from our breath off. Even when it is near freezing outside, it is so warm inside the pod you can’t wear a jacket or you’ll roast (it’s like a sauna in there!)My toddler figured out how to use the zippers so I had to move the position of the zipper pulls out of his reach. I use a Lille baby carrier in a front hug carry position and his feet barely fit inside the pod but stay well enough for my liking. I think it’s working great for us and I’m glad I got it.I’m even considering wearing this to his next doctors appointment to try to avoid catching RSV or Covid (but of course there is no way to guarantee it’ll work since the bottom elastic is loose I can see out the bottom a little since I’m so slim…) I think it will protect from obvious splatters of people coughing or sneezing on us in the lobby though. It’s really just for my peace of mind—I’m guessing this bit sounds silly but I’m leaving it in the review anyway.Hope this review helps!

To be fair I used it a couple times and it did the job

I like this little tent. Perfect for hotboxing. However, this thing can easily black your eye if not careful opening it up. It violently flings open with its hard frame. I’ve resigned to just not folding it at all because it’s quite a hassle to get closed. When closing it you better be sure you have a helluva grip on it because if you don’t and it springs open and hits you, it’s not very delightful. It can probably double as a personal sauna as it can get really hot, really fast. For my purposes, I’m ok with that, but for others, the “windows” zip fully open on 3 sides so you can get a breeze of sorts.

Well, at least from the waist up you won't get wet. Forget fitting a chair in the pod with you though. Your lap WILL get wet if you are sitting down. Maybe a child size?? If you are a normal sized adult, I would advise you not to buy this as it is a complete waste of money and does not work for the intended purpose. If you are purchasing for a child, this is the perfect size for toddler chairs.

What I loved about this purchase was how they advertised it being a full size weather pod.Is not…. And is pretty small, my Chihuahua wouldn’t even use this.Note to company.. stop ripping people off

Too cumbersome and too small to be useful.

It does keep you warm and it keeps you dry in the rain. I only wish I had gotten the one for the entire body. Your legs are not protected

I got the idea to purchase these when I drove thru Chic Filet on a rainy day. A very unique gift and it folds up when not in use. It keeps the rain off and it is see thru. Can’t wait for my friends to use them
