Can you explain the image on the box?

The game has a medieval theme to it, although it is purely for aesthetics. The outer edges of the board are "town walls" and each piece is given a name based on the shape and size. The idea of the game is to strategically occupy more of the "town" with your buildings than your opponent's. The box cover art is following the medieval theme: A suit of armor, helmet with chainmail, a walled city and what I am guessing is "gothic" design. Other than that, it has no significance. I have had this game for over a decade and my box cover was solid brown with gold lettering... One of our favorite "go to" games to play on a rainy day.

The game board in the video is at least 12" square but the dimensions here state 8.75" square, which is it?

It’s a wonderful board game- probably closer to the 9”.

I have seen large and small versions of this game and am looking for the larger one. How big is this game being sold here?

The game board that I have is 9.5 inches square and the single piece has a 3/4 x 3/4 inch square footprint and the squares on the board are about 3/4". The UPC is 8645300607, made in China. It is all made of wood. I just realized that the one I have was a gift from a different store. The one that I bought at Amazon was given away as a gift so I don't have those dimensions.

What kind of weight do the pieces have? Do they feel too light/flimsy?

The weight of the entire board game is 7.8 lbs. Each of the pieces is solid wood so they have a heavy feel. It's one of our best selling games. We hope you order one. Thanks for your inquiry.
