Aptly titled, this book offers an insight into the ‘people’ comprising the world of ‘Pusheen’, with ‘cameos’ by some of the creations part of the second installment of the series. While some of the images included are easily accessible online as GIFs, in my humble opinion, the joy felt when flipping the book’s pages, and not helping but adore the images, are irreplaceable. The book includes some ‘facts’ on the ‘people’ via text and images, which are not, to the best of my knowledge, available online as of now: not even via the official ‘Pusheen’ website. A careful understanding of the thread(s) containing the images makes one truly appreciate the ‘story-telling’ and ‘visuals’. I cannot emphasise enough on the warmth and happiness the book series has brought to me. It should not be interpreted as an ‘only for children’ product. A sense of positivity must not be restricted by factors such as age and/or gender. For people who do not like to ‘journal’, for instance, this book series might, as a suggestion, serve as a means to ‘unwind’ and relax post-work. Overall, this product is well worth the purchase.
