Freshest good tasting micro sardine. I put them at the top in individuality. Innovative clear plastic peal is amazing. Some brands are dangerous and cn scatter the whole can full against the pitch all. These peal off clean and smooth . No fight. These also are easy to fork out compared to biggies stuffed in the can and break-up.

I’m in awe. I tried King Oscar (the 4-pack, in red packaging, I dot know if/how it differs from the gold pack, they’re both two-layer in EVOO) and frankly I was disappointed, I don’t know if it was the wood they were smoked with or they weren’t cleaned well, but there was an off flavor I didn’t like. But I’ve never been disappointed by Brunswick Sardines (or herring, for that matter). The flavor is clean, fishy in a good way, excellent olive oil, and the plastic seal is easy for arthritic fingers to remove (also great for kids, no chance of cutting fingers on sharp metal edges — you canbb b even share the leavings with your dog or cat in the can with no danger to their mouths! My terrier Flynn agrees: Brunswick Sardines rule! He was unimpressed with King Oscar ones, tho.

It costs a little bit more than some but it worth the price.

How do they pack the sardines so artistically? The product tastes great. Every once in a while I’ll have one.

Toss these in a skillet w/ some more sliced olives, a little garlic and a touch more oil, then fold in a can of Cannellini Beans give it a little time to come to temp and add some Angel Hair. Plate, Grated Cheese and your lady is gonna love it!!

Product itself is great. Love these smoked sardines in olive oil as part of a keto diet. Haven't found these in my local stores yet. However, Amazon shipped in a padded envelope and one of the sardine containers plastic seal broke. Leaked sardine juice and olive oil all over the other 3 sardine containers and soaked through the padded envelope. Had to throw away the one with broken seal. These need to ship better. Placing the padded evelope in a small shipping box could solve this.

I enjoyed the sardines themselves as I prefer the little ones like these and KOs. I did not like the jalapeno slice in it. Not sure why but I've found I prefer red pepper sauces and peppers than green jalapenos in sardines.They just don't go together, in my opinion. Franks Red Hot goes well with sardines, especially those in water which I also like from Wild Planet and KO.
