Total catnip for almost any fluorescence-based hobby
My wife and I collected a lot of "vaseline glass", a form of depression glass that owes its unique color to uranium oxide added to molten glass. It fluoresces beautifully under black light, and we used to carry small fluorescent black lights, then first-generation 395nm black light LED flashlights. I now carry a small, but powerful 365nm UV flashlight with a "Woods glass" filter that cuts visible light to near nothing. It makes vaseline glass glow spectacularly. At least that's what I thought until I tried this little laser on it. When the relatively dim-looking violet dot hits vaseline glass, the green flare looks like something out of science fiction. Kryptonite exploding or something. I've never seen vaseline glass so bright it hurts your eyes before.

It works!
It lights up with 3V and that is all I have tried. A USB battery should really light that up. It holds brightness and has a heavy enough case to keep it cool. It appears to be well made and has no spec sheet included The beam is clean and well collimated. This color of light is not highly visible but the color is energetic and a bit of a hazard, it lights things up that are fluorescent, this is almost a blacklight. One could use this alser to cure some 3D printing photopolymers or write into photoresists.

Great Laser!
I bought this for use in a light show I'm designing. The color is a nice violet blue, clearly visible in daylight, and the intensity will be perfect for what I'm using it for! This is a great power range for lighting effects since it won't burn things but is bright enough to be visible (something violet lasers can struggle with). It will definitely look great in fog. The beam will never be as sharp as a red or green laser, but this is an expected trait of blue lasers. That being said, this unit does focus pretty well. Running at 3.3 volts, I haven't noticed it getting hot or had any concerns about running it continuously, but I'll need to test this more. I will likely buy more of these in the future!

A weak, very hard to discern laser.
This is my second purchase of this item. I was hoping that the first was a one-off, but it wasn't. The fist laser was strong, and focused well. The first and only time it worked. The one I just rplaced it with works, but is very weak, amd will only work within very narrow limits when it comes to voltage. If you cannot do this, don't buy one.

BAD QC, inconsistent product
I bought these for work to use as UV curing and needed the intense light output. The first 3 I bought works great, so I bought 6 more, but out of those 6 only 2 is good. In the photo, you can see the one on the left retrofitting in a handle is of the first batch, then the 2 on the right are from the newest order. Very disappointing!

Nice and bright dot
We are using the laser in a vision application. Using the dot to highlight a shoulder in a part so the camera can see it easier. Good value

Not brite in visible spectrum.
Not really brite. Gives No off a pale pale purple light. Might be high in UV but couldn’t measure that. Green laser of same power rating is blinding. Couldn’t use if for what I wanted. Was of a good quality physicaly. Case has built in heat sink grooves. Did like that.

Great for fluorescence experiments
Had to rig up a USB plug for supply but then was tickled to see that this wavelength makes lots of pigments in the environment fluoresce. Just please be careful to avoid peoples eyes because the 405-nm beam is far more powerful than it looks on a non-fluorescent surface like metal.
