I wouldn't put a prewar Martin in this, but it's ideal for an everyday guitar.It provides a reasonable amount of padding all around, and is substantial and stiff enough to hold its shape. Includes a Velcro neck catch inside.The 2 pockets are well-designed and huge, without sticking out too far: The upper pocket will easily hold accessories and even a music stand. The lower pockets (2 levels) will hold sheet music of any size. Actually, you could probably carry a small dog in the main pocket. The diagonal stripe accents are unusual and stylish.The only weak points: The backpack straps are barely padded. And the single carry handle is sewn only to one side of the bag, so your instrument's weight will put some stress on the zipper. Neither is a real issue with a lightweight, conventional acoustic guitar. But they might be for a heavier resonator guitar (I bought this to hold a dobro).

great inexpensive gig bag for transporting your guitars

I ordered one of these for an auditorium sized acoustic cutaway guitar. Guitar fits fine with room to spare. For the cost, is slightly better in quality than some of the others. Zippers work well, front storage pockets large enough for music book and a few supplies. Padding is a bit less than expected, but I can live with it.
