Great casings !
Just stuffed 3+ pounds in the LEM HOG casings. These are great casings at a good price. They are as thick as advertized (32 - 35 mm) and better quality than others I have bought previously. And they were nicely packed so I was able to separate strands easily, which is not always the case. The two individual strands I used were each about 5 - 6 feet long and one plus a half of the other handled the 3.75 lbs of sausage I mixed. There areat least ten more strands now stored for later use.

Awesome casing
Made the best homemade bratwurst!! Delivery was awesome!!

Good bang for the buck
Works pretty well once I got them moving. Made sure to soak them for a good bit of time so they were easy to work with. I did not have too many breakages in the casings were easy to tie off. When I first open them the odor was kind of off-putting but after a soak it went away almost completely. Worked well for venison sausage.

Easy to use
I'm new to making sausage and ordered the LEM casings based on the Amazon reviews. I made 25 lbs of bratwurst today and these were relatively easy to use. They had no distinct smell out of the package. Hydrating the casings was easy. I found that most of the casings were 4-5 feet long, but several were under 3 feet. A couple casings had tears near one end, but morning too major. I'm happy with these overall, but I haven't tried eating any of the sausages yet, so I may be back to edit my review at a later date.

This is wet-packed, *not* semi-dry and packed in salt.
I thought that this product was mostly dried and packed in salt like the package of another brand I had purchased in the past. But this package came wet-packed, sealed in a plastic pouch with (presumably) saltwater inside. I am not sure if this package is intended to be used in one sitting or if it is OK to use only a few and store the remainder in the fridge for months like the dry salt-packed ones. Just a bit confused. I believe it is a good product. I just don't plan to make 30 pounds of sausage at one time.
