BLACK+DECKER CM4201S Select-A-Size Easy Dial 12-Cup Programmable Coffeemaker, Stainless Steel

Have used the Black & Decker Coffee Maker only a few times. So far, it has met all my expectations. The coffee has a good taste and is just hot enough. The Brew Later and the Select a Size features were a must. The warming plate keeps the coffee just at the right temperature. I would have liked the warming plate to have a four-hours auto shutoff, but it is what it is, and I have learned to deal with the two-hours auto shutoff. Just moved the "Brew Later" feature up one and one-half hours and that works fine. This means my wife has hot coffee when she awakens.I had seen a complaint that the carafe leaks some coffee when pouring, but I have not experienced that problem. There will be some drops of condensation from the lid, if the coffee is allowed to set a short time.Have no idea what long term service will be, but I had one of these years ago and used it for many years before the reservoir started leaking.

This coffee maker is good enough for what I need.This is the third one I’ve purchased in five years. The heating element is not too great. Have to microwave every cup.Also the display craps out and it’s a guessing game.Professional opinion: eh.

I had a hard time finding this one. I like that it accommodates 4-12 cups by utilizing a dial that controls the amount of water that goes in the carafe. I can fill the well to 12 cups & set the dial on 4 and it will dispense that amount only in the morning or dial it to 12 when company is over. . I haven’t found another affordable coffeemaker with that specific function. This is my 2nd.

Horrible carafe! Plastic rim! It drips! Hell to find the right size replacement!

I look the whole thing but coffee spills everywhere when you pour it and I don’t like how messy it gets

I have had mine for years, and am now buying a second one for my daughter, and her friend. Hope it holds up as well as.mine has. It also makes excellent tasting coffee. The light on it has grown very dim to see, but I do not use it anyway.

Makes good coffee.

UPDATE: 03/14/2024I ordered a 2nd one, the shipping\delivery said was delivered Feb.20th; it wasn't!I called both UPS & USPS because it was shipped by UPS, then handed off to USPS and reported that I didn't receive the coffee maker; then called Amazon to report that I didn't received it, they issued Credit.Then, I ordered the 3rd one. It was delivered March 5th!I opened it up and inspected for damages, but haven't used it yet.I will run a cycle thru it in a few days, to make sure it works properly, but I'm going to use old, 1st one until it quits.*************************************I've had my 1st coffee maker several years, probably 6-7+-yrs; can't remember when I bought it from Walmart. It is still working, but like 1 reviewer said, I can't see the digital lights now, unless I turn off the kitchen lights at night. I haven't cleaned as regularly as recommended, but it still makes great coffee. I only gave 4-stars because of the lights, as several people have said, it's almost impossible to pour coffee, without it dripping; the pot needs to be redesigned!, but that's not the coffee pot's fault. I am about to purchase another one, to have on hand as a back-up, for whenever this one gives up the ghost👻 and quits. I know it won't last forever, but it may outlive me😆😅🤣😂❣️ If so, my son can give the new one to "GoodWill"!*For the 4-Cup setting, I only use 2 of the 1/8-C. Coffee Scoops of Folgers Columbian Coffee☕️; I press the"Bold" Button, before "Start"!!!
