I’ve been using the 3M Xtract Net Disc 310W (180 grit) on both wood and metal projects, and I have to say—this is hands down one of the best sanding disc lines I’ve used, especially for the price.Right out of the box, I noticed how well-designed the net structure is for dust extraction. Paired with a decent vacuum setup, it leaves virtually no mess behind. It makes a huge difference when you’re working in a small shop or garage where cleanup is a pain. The discs don’t clog up easily either, which means you get a lot more life out of each one.The hook and loop system is strong and doesn’t wear out quickly, so swapping discs is easy and they stay securely attached throughout the job. These disks are the bees knees. The dust collection is superb, they stay sharp the longest I’ve been able to find. The sanding quality they leave behind is second to none.I mean they’re actually worth the money cause they last so much longer. They stick to the pad real strong, so never slippage. The blue color is kinda cool but most importantly makes sanding a breeze and finishes come out so spot on I would be hard pressed to try anything else. Mostly using on woodworking projects as a profession

I use a ton of sand paper on a variety of home projects .I almost always go wth the cheap box of round paper and it is fine.I recently purchased a new electric or it's sander and decided to use this on brand new oak doors that needed sanding prior to sealing. Also needed to get poly off some that were done poorly. All I can say is this is 10x better vs traditional paper, doesn't leave a ton of dust and is faster and more efficient as well. I will never use any other type of paper. The 200 piece box for $10 is less cost effective vs this. On the low grit you really noticed huge difference. It's so much more flexible and a game changer.

I purchased a yellow 6 inch round hand sanding pad that takes hook/loop sandpaper from Amazon some time ago. And I have tried Diablo (very good stuff BUT pricey!) and other brands and I come back to the 3M product line every time.... Very good stuff. Lasts just as long as the expensive stuff, reusable like the expensive stuff, more cost savings to me....

Love these sanding discs. More expensive than traditional sandpaper. But because of the design, you don’t have to fuss with lining up dust extraction holes and more dust is extracted through the sander. Also the disc doesn’t seem to get as filled with sawdust residue as with traditional sandpaper.

I have been using the more expensive Mirka Abranet for several years but gave this brand a try due to the less expensive price. I have been very surprised by the great finish I’m getting with these 3M discs, and they’re almost as durable as the Mirka Abranet. I think I’ll be buying these from now on.

I've sanded two full sheets of T1-11 rough-sawn plywood with a sheet of 80 grit sandpaper and it still looks unused. Great lasting sandpaper.
