I read reviews on here regarding problems with the hole punch tool, but I didn't run into any of that.Perhaps I use a bigger hammer than most, but I gave the hole punch 3 good wacks, using a piece of 2x4 behind my cloth, and I got a perfectly round hole.Similarly the grommet went together with 3 good wacks on the crimping tool. In just a few minutes I was done.One point off for no instructions and having to come back to the website to see how it was all done.

Okay, just used this and I would say it’s as advertised. In the video it shows you hardly have to hit it to cut out a hole but I’d say you have to hit it hard. Pretty hard but it does the job. Clean, easy to use, and efficient. Probably best for leatherwork though. We did it on our DIY projector screen.

Not one to have used a product like this before however had trouble making perfect holes after watching multiple videos.

I am happy with my purchase of this grommet kit that nicely stores all needed components within a plastic bin for organization. I had never applied grommets prior and appreciated the Amazon online detail given and video provided. I do suggest that the video for this particular set be revised. The pieces within the grommet application are all placed down in a row by the video demonstrator. One of the pieces is duplicated and placed down twice so that each side of the piece can be seen. Initially, there was confusion for me on how many of the pieces were to be used when applying each grommet. However, my craft project was a success and I keep coming back to Amazon based on the amazing range of products that are available with ideal marketing visuals for use. Thank-you!

Nice and as expected. A little pricy is all

Very happy with this set (10mm - 2/5”), and worked for my requirements.Setting tool is very easy to use and sets eyelets easily and neatlyOnly downside is that the hole punch is pretty much useless and blunt, even on a sandwich of two layers of ripstop nylon which contain backing cotton for the eyelet to grip onto. Seems to be similar with all makes of eyelet sets where the punches are more like a safety one - certainly won’t damage anything with it :(Luckily have better punches which I used and job completed easily.

I have used this eyelet kit on tarpaulin and more importantly on eyelets on my fishing bivvy which is an oxford material and works very well good robust and good standard product.Excellent value for money.
