I'm sorry, but you don't know how to use this unit properly. You destroyed everything connected to this unit. This if for charging a battery. Separately. Disconnect everything. Disconnect the battery. Then... Charge the battery. Alone. Separately. Only connect to the battery, and the battery, alone. BTW: this is a pretty good battery charger, for many different types of batteries.

Is it safe to charge my Lifepo4 12v battery at 20a setting?

As long as your battery is 40AH or larger. It is incorrect that the battery BMS controls the charging rate. The BMS will stop the charging completely if the charging voltage exceeds a certein limit but it does not control the charging rate. The charger charges at 20A (not really, see below) until the voltage reachs 14.6V and then the current is smaller, maintaining 14.6V. The problem with this charger is that the wires are too small so you never get 20A. The most you would get is 15A.

Is this compatible with charging LTO?

All lithium chemistry is compatible and even better: lead acid needs to be full to last where LIFEPO4 or others last longest at 50%…. Lead acid charging at 80% of a real lithium charge mode… meaning you actually will have a lithium battery for twice as long as a lead acid if you use it in vehicles. It has all the modes in the charger so it will charge it completely full with the charger, which is great if you use it a lot before running a car or using it. Be aware when you let it sit put it at 60%

I purchased one of these chargers, can I get a second one and run them in parallel

For LIFEPO4 batteries it does not really matter as long as the battery size matches the charging current. Recommended 1/2C meaning half of the Amp hour capacity in amp is the recommended max charging speed. Example 100Ah battery you can charge with up to 50 amp so using 2 20Amp chargers is fine but not 2 35Amp chargers, I would get a 200Ah battery to charge it with 2 35Amp chargers
