In my car, there was literally no other way to mount my new big GPS unit. Oh, I could go to a car stereo shop and they probably could design something, but it would require the cost and time hassle of installation. This is good enough. Very heavy, and very strong jaws.

My car is 19 yrs old so the navigation system is awkward to use. I use this to hold my Garmin in place, and it’s the best one I’ve found. The weighted base has a small strip of light adhesive on the bottom. It didn’t feel very sticky, but combined with the weight of the base itself, it stays in place. For my needs it’s absolutely perfect.

I thought it may be too long to fit on my Ford Escape dash, but it worked out just fine. The 90 degree power cable to my GPS also fit fine. The only minor complaint is that I have to mount my Magellan GPS off center to access the on/off switch on top. I just turn it on then mount it, then turn it off when removing.My old GPS mount had a suction cup that was weak and a separate, unreliable mounting pad.

Very easy to use, works well

This is my third Garmin. I’ve been very pleased with my other two and their accuracy. When driving places without phone service, it still works and is a great tool.I like a lot of things about this one. The display is good, though perhaps has more glare than my last one. I have to change its position often. The speed limits are generally accurate and it tracks my speed well.My biggest issue is the maps. How can they be less accurate than before? I don’t understand it. I was 30 minutes late yesterday for an appointment and the map was completely wrong. This is not the first time this has happened. What’s especially frustrating is you used to be able to report errors and that capability seems to no longer exist.This unit also seems more sensitive to sun.I’m hoping a few more map updates will rectify the problem, but none of the places it located incorrectly have been new - they have all been located there for years, so I am a bit apprehensive. I’ll be using my phone programs as backup until things improve - and I hope, they do.

Holds the GPS and if you use your phone as a gps it does that as well. Doesn't slide anywhere even with a hard brake or quick turn. Does have a way to stick to the dash but I don't see a purpose to use it. Very good quality.

These are weighted and great to have during travel. Especially on long trips where you need directions.

Almost perfect but falls a bit short. It is heavy which is good. It is less likely to fly around. On some models the connecting cord can be a crimped but it usually can be moved sideways. That problem really lies with the GPS manufacturer imo. The double sided tape should be extended to the front and back and not just the front. That can be solved by using your own double sided tape. All in all I am happy.
