My daughter loved making these cars.. it gave her a sense of accomplishment as she did all by her own , and it was working.. racing car and road roller car were here favourite.. highly recommended if you want your child to be an innovator..

I picked the 4 in 1 car for our 8- and 11-year-olds to have a little of fun, but primarily to learn about engineering concepts. The kids had a great time assembling the car. They were able to put together all of the different configurations without adult supervision. The concepts behind how this car functions was simple enough to talk through with our kids. They were able to grasp the mechanical / electrical concepts about how the battery drives the motor to mechanically turn the wheels to move the car. As an engineering learning experience, we give this set 5 stars! The kids learned a bit about how cars are engineered with this simple model. They're even pontificating how they can reuse the battery, motor, and wheels with their legos and other toys. (The creativity and thinking beyond the model is what's important here.) We don't think the wooden construction materials will survive the heavy usage or play though -- bouncing up and down off the ground, bumping into things, breaking down and reassembling the car are all going to take a toll on it over time. That's ok for us though since the learning experience was far more valuable / important than the longevity of the wooden model.

It was easy to assemble. My only gripe was that it didn’t come with all the parts it was supposed to. That said, it went together easy and the instructions were pretty clear. My daughter likes building it. The only gripe was that the front wheels didn’t spin the best, so having the motor to push it forward caused it to struggle.

Arrived on time, good instructions. However, popping the items out takes some finesse - and my 8 and 10 year olds weren’t able to do so themselves, ultimately breaking a tiny piece off the base, making the whole thing unstable. For something aged 6-12, it should be a bit more durable or easy to pop out.

The motor is broken and some pieces don’t fit together, not well made at all, missing parts cause lots frustrations.
