First things first, this bottle is not compatible with the classic Blend Active blender most of us has, as it does not fit the blender lid to twist on. I found I had to make my smoothie in the original bottle and then transfer into this. The silicone seal comes out of the lid very easily so that is disappointing. Most importantly, and I cannot stress this enough (I guess with any bottle); do not leave in the sun with the lid closed. There was no more than 1cm of smoothie left in this bottle and after 24hours of being left on the side (strong possibility of sun exposure though I cannot confirm) with the lid closed, this bottle exploded and splattered the liquid all over the walls, ceiling, floor, upholstery - everything. The only reason it gets one star is because the lid is so secure once closed, it actually exploded from the bottom of the bottle rather than the lid. Safe to say I won’t be making that mistake again, and whilst I cannot confirm the bottle itself is at fault, I’ve certainly never experienced anything like that before.

This doesn't fit the old blender! It only fits the new one. It's much more cost effective to buy the new blender and get 2 bottles. As for the bottle itself it's an improvement on the old style ones. Feels more secure and the opening is bigger which means you don't have to cut things up as small.

Took a while for me to start using it but it’s decent, only thing is that the black ring at the mouth lid part of the bottle fell out. It’s easy to put back in, mind you, but I’m pretty sure the bottle may be problematic without it.

machine and bottles ok, lids are poor. Break very easily and do not seal well. extremely expensive to replace so threw away after a few months, after buying extra bottles, new lids after all 4 lids broke and cheaper to buy a different machine with better lids and cheaper replacements. Amazon wont let me review the machine and bottles even though I bought both separately

How disappointing is this that the bottle doesn't fit an older model of a blender. I mean, of course there may be a need to upgrade models by the company over time, but who invented the screw in new bottles not fitting older machines and why??? Utterly useless, so I have my old Breville and it needs to be ditched to landfill just because I cannot buy a bottle for it, right? Crap.

It’s an ok bottle, but not as good as the old ones. Leaks a little where the cap seal against the spout which the old style green ones never did. But the biggest change is the screw thread which means it will NOT fit on the old blade. Size is the same, but it won’t screw on so check which version you have.
