San Damiano Crucifix Metal Framed Art Print 10" x 10" Multicolor Traditional Religious Wall Art

It’s a beautiful rendition of the San Damiano cross St Francis of Assisi used to pray with. Contrary to other reviews it is not abnormally dark as the real one is dark like all things from that era. The colors are vibrant as well as the gold leaf. I will have it blessed. Same day delivery was quite a treat!

This is a very beautiful bass relief plaque interpretation of the San Damiano crucifix which in the original is flat.I amazed at how beautiful this variation is. It is a much appreciated gift to a friend.

My daughter asked for this specific type of crucifix. She first saw one at a retreat house. I wasn't sure how I was going to like it and figured I could return it. I am impressed. Can't wait to give it to her for her birthday in 2 days.

Not bad for a plaster replica. Painted on wood would have been better but I like it, just the same.

Pretty, but it’s made in China

I was disappointed with the quality of the cross; however I have decided to keep it.I purchased it in remembrance of my oldest son who passed away recently and who was much helped by the Franciscans. The cross is not flat and the casting is a bit off – but considering that it is made in China (the country that hates Christians). I would have never purchased the San Damiano Cross had I known the country of origin. I am keeping it because of my intention but I would never recommend that anyone else purchase it. It would be wonderful if Amazon indicated the country of origin on every item offered. In the future I will be contacting vendors and determining the country of origin before purchasing.

This is beautiful. I was very surprised at the quality. I may buy a second one for my son. Very nice.
