Great quality, ease of installation and perfect fit in my 2023 Toyota Tacoma SR5 with 5 foot bed are big plusses. The weight and appearance of the vehicle mat is perfect. Due to its thickness and heavy weight there is virtually no way it will ever fly up from wind in the bed while driving. It prevents wear of the bed and prevents items in the bed from sliding all over the place while starting, stopping or driving. I looked at cheaper bed mats but in reading the reviews of them, I could see that a cheaper mat would have been a waste of money. Read the reviews before you buy a bed mat. In my estimation, this mat is well worth the price.

Finally picked up the OEM short bed mat for my 2011 Tacoma (which still looks and feels like its 95% new) and am very satisfied. I finally can place items into the bed and they stay put! There aren't really any cons, aside from how I wish it would have been a 0.75" thick material, but the 0.5" thick material is still very very durable. My personal 'should cost' came down to what was willing to spend, which was roughly $90 including shipping, so I finally purchased. $96 shipped is the lowest cost I've ever seen for a new one. If your thinking of buying a $30 piece of stall-mat to cut as a bed mat, think again - you probably have better things to do anyway and its not going to be as nearly good as this mat!Pros:1. Sticky/tacky material will grip all items with a flat bases without the need to tie-down.2. Custom cut for perfect fitment.3. Mat is very very durable rubber, and is likely reinforced. Also, it acts like a 30 to 40 pound bed weight for snow-areas.4. Appearance is perfect match for Gen 2 and for Gen 3.5. Toyota OEM vendor sourced!Cons:1. Material could have been 0.75" thick (but this would have affected the ability to ship).2. Will make loading wood and 4 x 8 sheets challenging (make sure to remove it if you need to load up with Lumber)3. Bed mat was probably part of the original intended design and should come standard with each Tacoma (like the cargo carpet mats in an SUV), but was made into a dealer accessory.

I generally DO NOT go out of my way to leave a review for something but this is an exceptional product. Purchased it and a cap a couple months ago in preparation for a trip across country. Things were getting moved here to there, into storage, donations, etc. and I really didn’t want to have to tie everything down, for short trips across tow. However I was getting frustrated with having to listen to items slide around in the bed or pick up the pieces when boxes overturned - and for the longer trip I did not want things shifting.Read lots of reviews and took a leap of faith and it paid off! For starters, YES it fits my 2018 Tacoma Shortbed (Amazon either got some bad data or has a glitch in their software). In any event, now nothing slides or shifts, even slightly, EVER. It’s almost too good because the days of sliding things into the bed are over. Items now must be lifted in then lowered onto the mat, but once it’s in contact with the mat, you might as well say its glued to the bed because its not going anywhere until you lift it.

Great mats. Protects the floor of my car perfectly. Very durable. Good value. With all the dirt and sand that gets in the car these protect the floor very well. Protects from spills too!

I believe this is the single best accessory for the Tacoma truck. It was a perfect fit for my 5' bed (even had cutouts for the factory D rings). Looks great - works great - keeps heavier items from sliding around (lightweight items will obviously still shift and slide). Very, very, very pleased with this purchase! My Tacoma is a better truck because of it.UPDATE (11/18/2015): In a couple of weeks it will be 2 years since I purchased this bed mat. And during this almost 2 year period of time, we built an outdoor kitchen area with brick wood-fired pizza oven. I hauled many, many loads of fire brick, standard brick, sand, stone, cinder block, Sakrete, pavers, mortar, lumber, galvanized roofing, rock, gravel, pipe, steel, firewood, etc. This was a year-long project! The mat still looks good and functions good. In addition to all the load of materials I've hauled on this mat, it has been exposed to 2 years of weather (my cars are garaged - but my truck is always outdoors).Since this purchase, I've purchased a number of other accessories for the Tacoma. But I stand by my original comment: This is still the "Single Best Accessory for the Tacoma!"

I have a double cab 5ft bed on my 2022 Toyota Tacoma. Fits perfect and is a nice, durable and thick bed mat. The rubber feels nice and adds plenty of grip, i put a bowling bag with a pair of wheels in the back and it barely ever rolls around. I highly recommend.

The reviews have discouraged me from buying this for months. Bad reviews about it arriving damaged or dirty. It comes wrapped in plastic and I assume that could get torn along the way and allow it to get damaged or dirty.BUT! I finally took my chances and went for it. I was extremely pleased! It arrived in the plastic, clean and undamaged. It fits my 2021 Tacoma like a glove. Nothing is sliding around in my truck’s bed now.I had a good experience! Its a great price for something that covers and protects your investment in your truck. So, don’t worry about the bed mat getting scratched or dirty, that’s what it’s for. DO IT!

Don't even hesitate to buy this mat. The plastic bed floor in the tacomas is really slick. Anyone that owns one of these trucks know you can't haul anything back there without it sliding around. Sure you can take the time to tie down every little thing you haul and save yourself money but what a waist of time! I did a before and after test with a propane bottle. Night and day difference, without the mat it was banging around every corner of my bed no matter how gentle I drove. Now with the mat, it stayed in place. I didn't have to tie it down or brace it at all. My mat looks good with no flaws or fitment issues.
