i guess i didn't know i also needed support for the rest of my foot when i bought this item.it does keep you balance and i need balance when i squat but i wish i had more support for the ball of the toes as well.

I put them in my work boots they work ok I recommend them they could be a little bigger so more air goes to the arc but so far they are good.

They have adhesive on the bottom and you can only attach them once to a pair of shoes and when you walk the pad bunches up into the arch and is painful.
