Happy Customer
Very versatile projector. I use it primarily as an extra monitor for my computer and to watch movies. The projector is small enough to carry in the same backpack that I carry my MacBook Pro in (carry-on to airplanes, etc.). It is big enough to have a bright bulb and a high resolution. I trade stocks and futures contracts, and use the projector for my charting software. I needed a high resolution display for these purposes. This projector does great in that regard. I was overseas for six months and used the projector as a second monitor, projecting onto the wall of my flat. I mounted it on a camera tripod. It does have some fan noise in normal or bright modes, but I was satisfied with the brightness in Eco mode even during the middle of the day, which is virtually noiseless. I also used it to project on a larger wall to watch movies, and was very happy with the results. I use external speakers, and don't really have any comment about the internal one. When I got back to the USA, I had a problem with my unit. Even though it could have been caused by travel or my new setup, it was still under warranty. The service department repaired it under warranty and returned it very promptly.I have been using the projector for approximately 9 months now and have been very satisfied with its performance and with the customer service department at AAXA. I would recommend this unit as a portable projector (but not as a tiny pico projector that would fit in the palm of your hand). I would also recommend AAXA for their great customer support.

Worth the money
Wonderful for the price. You can get an HD projector for $599.00 what's not to like? Well I'll get to a couple of things at the endRemember, you get what you pay for!I bought this primarily as a business projector, giving product presentations, updates, talking to analysts, investors and so forth. It comes with a handy carrying case and I used an HDMI cable (not included) to hook it up to my Apple Macbook Pro. Picture is very good, bright, very sharp and I use my slides in 16:9 mode so an HD projector works well for me, I can also use it to view movies, TV, etc.It is light and easy to carry although the finish will get, and show fingerprints, smudges, etc. It will run on batteries too, a nice feature for someone who wants to have a portable projector with them as well as a laptop, no electrical power required to go about your business. The internal battery also provides another nice feature, when running on battery it is quiet. Yep, plugged in it is noisy. Too noisy to really want to listen to. I mean you could but I don't think you'd want to watch a movie, TV show, Youtube video, etc while it is plugged in. If you are thinking about it strictly as a home entertainment projector you may want to look elsewhere. One other drawback, it is manual focus, so be aware you'll have to tweak it when moving it around.Pros:BrightCrisp pictureDetailed - letters sharp and easy to readColor looks goodLightComes with a caseBattery operatedEasily portableCons:Noisy when plugged inManual focus

Very unsatisfied.
IT does not Work, the lamp is not turning on and it makers a lot of noise. Also it came without a power cable, but with the powersupply. Bought myself a cable. Intel NOS I did not see it werking.Already replied, I hope it can be replaced,

Impressive package with some conflicting features
This projector comes with an odd combination of features. The built in speaker can not overcome the fan. You are only getting 500 Lumens most of the time, in ECO mode, because the fan is intolerably loud in bright mode. The picture is a bit misleading, that guy holding it has hands like Shaquille O'neal. It's really not that small... The built in battery is nice, but can't cover the length of a feature movie. The built in video player for USB has trouble with audio syncing once you try to fast forward a movie. Combo that with the battery lifetime, it means that you waste a lot of time fast forwarding to where you left off when the projector died - and now that audio is out of sync. This has meant that the device needs to be plugged in all the time for my use. Sure it's portable, and the power brick even converts the AC power to DC, but since it's not 12V (it's 19.5V, 4.62A) you can't buy an adapter for a vehicle.Given the loudness of the fan I can only recommend this for a rear display setup. You can save a whole lot of money and buy a cheaper 500 Lumen projector if you have, the usual, forward projection setup. The battery and speakers are wasted features that add cost, but provide little value. The speakers can't overcome the fan nor the distance for rear projection. Even in ECO mode the speakers are a bit underpowered for use with anything other than silence and attentive listeners.Overall I think they need to fix the fan noise before I can recommend spending this amount of money on projector. My friends are all very impressed with this projector. But they don't how much I paid for it. Picture quality is good. Focus is easy.Cons:Speaker is not loud enough1200 Lumens only if using rear projection (otherwise only 500 Lumens)USB support has problems with fast forwardingBattery life time not quite good enough for a feature filmDC power, but not 12VPros:Impresses friendsUpdate 1: I contacted customer support. I already have the latest firmware, so the noise is still an issue with front facing projection. I have, however solved my DC power problem. I purchased a 12VDC - 19VDC boost converter that is significantly more efficient than an AC inverter plus the original AC to DC power brick. The M5 tip fits great.https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B01N1SWXSE/I'm bumping my review up to 3 stars, because now that I have a better DC power solution I'm much happier. I'm happy to use the onboard speaker with front facing in eco mode, but it still seems like a whole lot of money even though it is a beautifully packaged solution. As for the fast forwarding problem: I noticed that if the device does NOT lose power and your movie is interrupted it will offer to resume where you left off. Hopefully a firmware update will allow the device to remember (roughly) where you left off when the power went out. In the meantime, with my DC adaptor in place, I'm not likely to lose power anymore.
